日本サッカー協会(JFA)は30日、2026年の北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア2次予選第4節の北朝鮮代表戦について、没収試合になったことを発表した。
これにより、日本は3-0での勝利となり、2次予選4連勝となり、最終予選に進出することが決定した。
日本は2連勝で迎えた21日のホームでの北朝鮮戦で、田中碧(デュッセルドルフ)のゴールで1-0と勝利し、3連勝。26日には13年ぶりに平壌での試合が予定されていた。
しかし、21日に突如として北朝鮮側が日本戦開催のは中止を要請。アジアサッカー連盟(AFC)は中立地での開催を求めたものの、北朝鮮側が用意できず。また、試合中にはJFAに対して日本での開催が打診されたが、滞在期限や手続きの問題から日本側が拒否。その後に国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)が正式に中止が発表されており、試合の取り扱いはFIFA規律委員会に委ねられていた。
宮本恒靖会長と森保一監督はJFAを通じて今回の決定についてコメントしている。
「3月26日に平壤で試合が行われなかったことについて、日本時間の本日未明にFIFA規律委員会の決定内容を受け取りました。この試合の取り扱いに関するステイタスが更新されたことは良かったと思います」
「ワールドカップ予選突破に向けて、森保監督やスタッフ、選手たちには引き続き良い準備をして試合に臨んで欲しいですし、JFAとしてもしっかりとサポートをしていきます」

これにより、日本は3-0での勝利となり、2次予選4連勝となり、最終予選に進出することが決定した。

プレミア昇格ならリーズがボランチ補強? 田中碧の相棒にファルケ監督も信頼する元ドイツMFを獲得か

田中碧が5年間履き続ける靴下、プロになってから履き続けるアイテム「できるだけ長く履きたい」

「ずっと仲良しでいいですね」「最高すぎる」堂安律もダブルピース! ハワイを共に楽しんだ相手は10年来の仲間「素敵です」

「漫画かよ」「ドラマがあるなぁ」“救世主”三笘薫と中村憲剛氏の13年前の姿にファンも感激「エモすぎる」
