ドイツ代表を率いるユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督が、自身の去就について言及した。ドイツ『Sport1』が伝えた。

8日、欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)は、UEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2024-25の組み合わせ抽選会を実施した。

4度目となるネーションズリーグには54カ国が参加。リーグAに属するドイツは、オランダ、ハンガリー、ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビアとグループA3にはいることとなった。
グループA2ではイタリア、ベルギー、フランス、イスラエルという強豪揃いのグループが出来上がるなどした中で、組み合わせが決まったナーゲルスマン監督は自身が指揮するかどうかはわからないとコメントした。

「それについてはまだ考えていない。私の契約はユーロ後に切れることになっている。だから、現状では『ノー』だと言うだろう」
2023年9月、日本代表とのホームゲームに敗れたドイツは、ハンジ・フリック監督を即時解任。ナーゲルスマン監督を招へいした。

ドイツは2024年のユーロ開催地であり、現在の契約はユーロ終了後まで。その後にスタートするUNLの組み合わせが決まったわけだが、自分は監督の座にいない可能性があるとした。

「最初から言っていたが、現時点ではユーロだけにフォーカスしている。その後、私がまだ監督を務めているかどうかがわかるはずだ」

「もしそうであれば、我々は非常に良い準備をし、それを最大限に活用して、ネーションズリーグで勝つように努めることになる」

2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップで優勝したものの、2018年のロシア、2022年のカタールと2大会連続でグループステージ敗退の屈辱を味わっており、ユーロも2021年はベスト16で敗退。自国開催で結果が出なければ、満了で退任することは間違いないだろう。

また、リバプールで指揮を執り成功を収めたユルゲン・クロップ監督が今シーズン限りで退任することが決定おり、フリーになることで、後任としても考えられている。

批判も受けたドイツ代表ユニフォームに問題…ナチスの「SS」に類似との指摘を受け「4」のフォントを変更、アディダスは購入中止に

「全くもってプロではなかった」浅野拓磨を見下した?リュディガーのステップをドイツ代表のレジェンドも問題視「相手を軽んじてはいけない」

ロナウドとの会話を明かすクロース「今後の試合について簡単に話をした」

東京五輪での初勝利後にプロポーズ! ドイツ代表FWクルーゼ「僕の妻になってくれますか?」

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。 これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。 ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。 「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」 「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」 この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue
