本人は拒否も諦めず…アル・イテハドがポグバに年俸総額230億円のオファーでサウジに誘惑

サウジアラビアへの移籍を望んでいないとされるユベントスのフランス代表MFポール・ポグバ(30)だが、サウジアラビア側は諦める気はないようだ。

2022年夏にマンチェスター・ユナイテッドからユベントスへと復帰したポグバ。2015-16シーズン以来の復帰となり、大きな期待が寄せられていたが、蓋を開ければケガの影響でほとんどプレーせず。公式戦10試合の出場に終わり、復帰後もケガを繰り返すなど、期待外れに終わった。

ユベントスはクラブの財政を圧迫する高給取りのポグバの放出を考えている中で、サウジアラビアから巨額オファー。アル・イテハドがポグバには3年間で総額1億ユーロ(約154億円)の報酬を提示したが、ポグバは拒否したとされていた。

ポグバは復活を目指し、フランス代表としてもユーロ2024に出場したい意向。そのため、ヨーロッパのトップレベルでプレーを継続したいと考えている。

ただ、サウジアラビア側も関心を強めており、最大で1億5000万ユーロ(約230億円)まで報酬を引き上げる考えがあるという。

今夏は多くの選手がサウジアラビアへと渡っており、一定のレベルは保たれる可能性もある。巨額の報酬であればポグバの意志もグラつく可能性も。レアル・マドリーの元フランス代表FWカリム・ベンゼマ、チェルシーのフランス代表MFエンゴロ・カンテと言葉も通じる知った選手がいることも後押しにつながる可能性はありそうだ。

ユベントスがジープ社と再契約、総額114億円の支援

ユベントスは13日、アメリカの自動車メーカーであるジープ社と2028年6月まで契約した。ユニフォームのメインスポンサーとなる。契約料は総額6900万ユーロ(約113億8000万円)とのこと。契約料の内訳は今季終了までに400万ユーロ、来季に1900万ユーロ、残り2シーズンが2300万ユーロとなる。ユベントスとジープ社は昨季終了後、2012年から続いていたスポンサー関係が終了していたが、再び蜜月の関係となった。なお、ジープ社はユベントスの歴代会長を輩出してきたフィアット創業家のアニェッリ家が所有する投資会社エクソールの傘下にあたる。 2025.05.14 09:30 Wed
