かつてレアル・マドリーでプレーした元ブラジル代表DFマルセロの息子、エンツォ・アウベスくんがスペイン代表に招集された。フルミネンセから2007年1月にマドリーに加入したマルセロ。2022年9月の退団まで、15年半在籍し、5度のチャンピオンズリーグや6度のラ・リーガなど数多くのタイトル獲得に貢献。超攻撃的な左サイドバックとして名を馳せた。

マドリー退団後はオリンピアコスでプレーし、現在は古巣のフルミネンセに戻りプレーを続けているマルセロ。一方で、息子のアウベスくんは2022年12月にマドリーと契約を結び、アカデミーでプレーしている。
現在13歳のアウベスくんは、マドリーのインファンティルAでプレー。14試合で32ゴールという驚異的な数字を残している。

父と同じブラジル代表への道も開かれている中、スペイン出身というともありスペイン代表への道も残されている状況。そんな中、スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)が4月末から開催されるPinatar Arena Supercup(ピナタル・アレナ・スーパーカップ)に臨むU-15スペイン代表に招集したという。
マルセロは、自身のインスタグラムでスペイン代表のユニフォームを着用している息子の写真をアップ。「無限の誇り、愛している。おめでとう」とコメントし、息子の代表選出を喜んだ。

これには元ブラジル代表FWパトやマドリーのMFルーカス・バスケス、FWヴィニシウス・ジュニオールなどが反応。この先どこまで飛躍していくのか、注目が集まる。

また、アウベスくんも「新たな挑戦を始めよう。頑張ろう!」と自身のインスタグラムに投稿。マルセロだけでなく、父の元同僚であるハメス・ロドリゲスやアルバロ・アルベロア、そして移籍市場に精通していることで知られるジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏もエールを送っている。

2011～2020年の世界ベストイレブンが発表!イニエスタとともに中盤に入ったのは相棒チャビではなく…

母国での引退を願うチアゴ・シウバ、チェルシー下部組織に所属の息子2人がブラジル帰国を拒絶「来年まで持ち越すよ…」

レアルが懸念事項を1つ解消へ、フランス代表DFメンディと契約延長で合意

レアル・マドリーがフランス代表DFフェルラン・メンディ(29)とついに契約を延長すことになるようだ。スペイン『マルカ』が伝えた。 ル・アーヴル、リヨンでプレーしたメンディは、2019年7月にマドリーへと完全移籍。左サイドバックとして大きな期待が寄せられていた。 元ブラジル代表DFマルセロとのポジション争いもある中、メンディは能力の高さとは裏腹にケガが多く、信頼を勝ち得ているもののなかなか稼働できない期間が多い状況だ。 2022-23シーズンはシーズンを通して23試合も欠場。ケガをしなかったシーズンはこれまでなく、今シーズンもマドリーの試合は1試合を除いて出場していたものの、9月のフランス代表の活動はケガで辞退していた。 メンディとマドリーの契約は2025年6月30日までとなっており、契約を延長しないのであれば今夏の移籍市場で売却したかった状況。マドリーは、バイエルンのカナダ代表DFアルフォンソ・デイビスの獲得も検討しており、メンディの去就が注目されていた。 そんな中、1つの問題が解決。カルロ・アンチェロッティ監督やチームメイトからの評価も高いメンディと、契約延長で合意したという。正式発表は近日中とのことだ。 2024.09.17 13:00 Tue

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー

ローマDFディーン・ハイセン(18)が自らのアイデンティティを語った。オランダ『Voetbal International』が伝えている。 セリエAでメキメキ頭角を表す197cmの両利きセンターバック・ハイセン。16歳でマラガからユベントスへ移籍し、トップ昇格の今季は後半戦からローマへ武者修行…順調に出場機会を得ている。 そんなハイセン、U-17オランダ代表の一員として2022年にU-17欧州選手権準優勝などなど、これまでは世代別オランダ代表の常連。 しかし、今回の代表ウィークはU-21スペイン代表に招集…元アヤックスの父ドン・ハイセン氏を含めて一家揃ってオランダ出身だが、自身が5歳の時にスペイン・アンダルシア州へ移住し、今年2月にはスペイン国籍を取得しているのだ。 そして、21日に行われたU-21スロバキア代表との国際親善試合でラ・ロヒタ(世代別スペイン代表の愛称)デビュー。スペイン『マルカ』のインタビューでは「僕はスペイン人」と明言した。 「そうだね。僕は自分がスペイン人だと感じているよ。5歳からマラガで育ち、今回スペイン代表の一員になれて嬉しい。いずれスペイン代表でトロフィーを勝ち取りたいよ」 ハイセンをDFヴィルヒル・ファン・ダイクやDFステファン・デ・フライ、DFマタイス・デ・リフトらに続く新時代のディフェンスリーダーと捉えていたオランダ側から見れば、今回の所信表明は痛い。 2024.03.26 16:35 Tue

「これは一体何?」「誰にも似合わない」新たな色を導入したスペイン代表のアウェイユニフォームに驚きの声続出「なんでこの配色に?」

ラ・リーガのテバス会長が再選、4期目を務めることが決定

ラ・リーガは12日、声明を発表しハビエル・テバス会長が再選することを発表した。 2013年からラ・リーガで会長職を務めているテバス会長。12月23日に任期が切れる中、11月23日に新たに選挙を行うための準備として、辞任を表明した。 暫定的に辞任し、自身の再選について判断を委ねるとされていた。 そんな中12日、ラ・リーガの選挙委員会は、テバス氏の再選に対して疑義を抱くクラブなどはなかったとのこと。これにより、立候補者が1人しかいなかったこともあり、選挙を行わずに再選が決定した。 テバス会長は4期目となり、新たに4年間会長職を務めることが決定した。 2023.12.13 13:30 Wed
