アーセナルが今冬2人目の補強完了! 多才な左利きDFキヴィオルを獲得

アーセナルは23日、スペツィアからポーランド代表DFヤクブ・キヴィオル(22)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。背番号は「15」に決定している。

なお、移籍市場に精通するジャーナリストのニコロ・スキラ氏によると、移籍金は2500万ユーロ(約35億5000万円)となり、アドオンが最大500万ユーロ(約7億1000万円)程度に。契約期間に関してアーセナルは“長期”とのみ伝えているが、2028年までの5年半契約となった模様だ。

ミケル・アルテタ監督は、ディフェンスラインに厚みをもたらす新戦力への期待を語っている。
「ヤクブが我々のクラブに加わってくれることは素晴らしいことだ。彼は若い多才なDFであり、セリエAのスペツィアで大きな可能性と資質を示し、ポーランドの代表でも活躍している」

「ヤクブは我々の守備陣に強さと質を与えてくれるプレーヤーだ。我々はヤクブと彼の家族をアーセナルに歓迎し、彼と一緒に働くことを楽しみにしている」
一方、イタリアを中心に欧州の主要リーグの強豪チームとの争奪戦を制して逸材の確保に成功したスポーツディレクターのエドゥ氏は、「ヤクブ・キヴィオルとの契約を完了できたことをうれしく思う。彼は以前から注目していた若手タレントだ。ヤクブと一緒に仕事をすること、そして彼が我々と一緒に成長し続けることを楽しみにしている」と、満足感を示している。

キヴィオルは、アンデルレヒトの下部組織で育ち、2021年8月にジリナからスペツィアへと加入。これまでセリエAで39試合に出場。今シーズンは17試合に出場していた。

また、ポーランド代表としても2022年6月にデビューし、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では4試合全てに出場し、将来が期待されている。

キヴィオルは左利きの189㎝のDFで、今季のスペツィアと代表ではセンターバックでプレー。さらに、昨季は智将チアゴ・モッタ監督の下で守備的MFとして攻守に複雑なタスクを任されていた。安定した対人守備に加え、戦術眼とビルドアップ能力に長けた総合力の高いDFは、ブラジル代表DFガブリエウ・マガリャンイスのバックアップを担うと共に、スペイン人戦術家に新たなオプションをもたらす存在となりそうだ。

19年ぶりのプレミア制覇に向けて順調に歩みを進めるアーセナルは、ブライトンから獲得したベルギー代表FWレアンドロ・トロサールに続き、今冬2人目の補強を完了させ、後半戦の過密日程に向けても準備万端だ。

スターリングの背番号は「30」、冨安健洋やティアニー、新加入選手全員がアーセナルでCL選手登録

出番限られるジンチェンコに移籍の可能性? アトレティコ&ドルトムントが今冬の獲得に関心

19年ぶりCL決勝進出を目指すアーセナルをハリウッドの大女優も応援…ユニフォーム姿で応援する姿も
