マンチェスター・シティがセビージャのフランス代表DFジュール・クンデ(23)獲得に関心を示しているようだ。

今夏にFWアーリング・ハーランド、MFカルヴァン・フィリップス、FWフリアン・アルバレスらを獲得したシティ。一方で、すでにMFフェルナンジーニョが退団したほか、FWラヒーム・スターリング、DFナタン・アケが揃ってチェルシー移籍に近づくなど、主力数選手に退団の可能性がある。

昨シーズンの公式戦27試合に出場して、バックアッパーという立場から堅実にチームの守備を支えてきたアケが退団した場合、シティは後釜の確保に動き出すとみられている。そしてスペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』によると、ジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督は以前から高く評価していたクンデの獲得を望んでいるようだ。
クンデは2019年夏にボルドーから加入したセビージャで評価を高めると、昨シーズンは公式戦44試合に出場してチームのラ・リーガトップ4入りに貢献。本人はより大きな挑戦を求めて今夏の移籍を希望しており、チェルシーやバルセロナが興味を示しているが、クラブ間交渉は難航し、ここまで去就は定まっていない。

セビージャはクンデの移籍金として最低でも6000万ユーロ(約83億4000万円)以上を求めると報じられているが、スターリング、アケの売却で豊富な資金を手にしたシティが獲得レースに参加した場合、一気に動き出す可能性がある。

「僕が言ったことを反映していない」クンデが自身に関するスペイン『マルカ』の記事の見出しをSNSで批判

バルセロナのフランス代表DFジュール・クンデが、自身に関するスペイン『マルカ』の見出しを批判した。 マドリードに本社を置く『マルカ』はバルセロナの宿敵であるレアル・マドリー寄りのメディアとして知られる。 その日刊スポーツ紙は16日、マドリーのフランス代表MFオーレリアン・チュアメニが主催するYouTubeチャンネル『The Bridge』でのクンデ、パリ・サンジェルマンFWウスマーヌ・デンベレのインタビューを基にした記事を掲載。 その際に『クンデ「以前と同じくらいフットボールが好きだと言ったら嘘になる。フットボールは僕のキャリアだったが、今は仕事だ」』との見出しで掲載していた。 ただ、見出しとなったクンデの発言はフランス語からスペイン語に翻訳した際に意味を正しく表現したものではない“誤訳”で、同選手は自身のSNSを通じてその点を批判した。 「マルカが公開しているタイトルは意味をなさず、僕が言ったことを反映していない。インタビューを別の言語で書き起こすときは、少なくとも正しく書き起こし、もちろん、言われたことを文脈から切り離さないことが重要だ。次に書き起こすときには、少なくとも公開する内容が正しいことを確認してほしい」 この批判を受け、『マルカ』は改めてインタビュー内容を確認し、当該記事の内容と見出しを『クンデ「試合で自分が何ができるかを一番よく知っているのは自分だ」』と訂正。 さらに、クンデの当該投稿に対して「ニュースを訂正しました。同僚が翻訳のトラブルを起こしてしまい、申し訳ありませんでした。心からお詫び申し上げます」と自らの非を認めて謝罪を行った。 今回の『マルカ』側の反応を見る限り、ライバルの中心選手を貶める意図はなく、単なる“誤訳”だった模様だ。 なお、訂正された記事では大きな注目を集めているクンデの個性的なファッションや自身のプレーに対する考え方、セカンドキャリアの展望といったエピソードが紹介されている。 2024.11.17 10:00 Sun
