ヴェンゲル氏、ディ・マリアの退場劇に持論「フェルナンジーニョも退場になるべきだった」

マンチェスター・シティvsパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)における、アルゼンチン代表MFアンヘル・ディ・マリアの退場について、アーセン・ヴェンゲル氏が持論を述べている。 4日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)準決勝での一幕。シティが2試合合計4-1とリードする中で迎えた69分、タッチライン際でMFフェルナンジーニョと小競り合いを起こしたディ・マリアが相手を踏みつけ一発退場処分を命じられた。 さらにその際、ディ・マリアはピッチを去りながらフェルナンジーニョに対して侮辱発言をぶつけるなど、その怒りは頂点に達していた。もちろんその行為は許されるものではないが、ここまで激昂する原因はフェルナンジーニョ側にもあったという意見もある。 ヴェンゲル氏もそのように考える一人で、『beIN SPORTS』の番組に出演した際、フェルナンジーニョも退場になるべきだったとの見解を示した。 「今夜のフェルナンジーニョの行動は、挑発的で好ましくなかった。ディ・マリアを退場させるなら、フェルナンジーニョも退場させなければならないと私は思う」 「彼はディ・マリアに対する挑発行為があったにもかかわらず、イエローカードにすらなっていない。どちらもレッドカードを受けるべきだった」 なお、この試合では、ディ・マリアの退場に抗議したPSGの選手に対し、主審のビョルン・カイペルス氏が不適切発言をしたと、MFアンデル・エレーラやMFマルコ・ヴェッラッティの証言で明らかになっており、後々まで尾を引く一件となりそうだ。 2021.05.05 18:15 Wed
