2017年にロンドンで初めて開催された『シックス・スターズ』。各国の歴代代表選手が参加した、6人制のインドアサッカーだ。プジョールがキャプテンを務めたスペイン代表は初戦でスティーブン・ジェラードをキャプテンとするイングランドと対戦した。

この一戦でも元バルセロナのセンターバックは戦う姿勢を披露。ボールコントロールが乱れたフィリップ・ネビルへ対し、激しいスライディングを仕掛ける。ただ、これがP・ネビルの右ヒザを捉える危険なチャージとなってしまった。

幸い大きなケガには至らなかったが、P・ネビルは試合後に「ピッチ上で見た中で最悪のタックルだった」と、やや冗談交じりにコメント。「驚くことに審判はボールにいっていると言うし。UEFAやFIFA、FAがこのシーンを見てくれていることを願っているよ」と続けた。

プジョールも「ごめんね!そこまでのつもりはなかったんだ、ヒザが無事だといいけれど」と謝罪の言葉を残しており、遺恨はなさそうだ。なお、スペインのチームメイト、ガイスカ・メンディエタからは「誰が"フレンドリー"に、って言ったんだっけ?プジョールさん?」とのツッコミを受けている。

「間違いを犯しました」ゲイ告白騒動のカシージャス、「僕らの話をする時が…」と茶化したプジョールが謝罪

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。 21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
