10日に行われたUEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2022-2023リーグA・グループ1の第3戦でデンマーク代表と対戦したクロアチア。前半はデンマークに主導権を握られていたものの、後半開始からMFルカ・モドリッチとコバチッチを投入して試合の流れを引き寄せ、69分にCKからMFマリオ・パシャリッチが先制点を奪い、1-0の勝利を収めた。

後半開始から出場してクロアチアのUNL2022-2023初勝利に貢献したコバチッチは試合後、後半は優位に試合を進めることができたとし、次節のフランス代表戦でも冷静さが必要になると語った。
「難しい試合だった。デンマークは直近の2試合やユーロ2020でも見せてくれたように、良いチームだということを僕らは知っていたんだ。前半は少し苦労したよ。けど、後半は僕らが主導権を握ることができた。さらに、幸運なことにゴールを奪うこともできたから、その分僕らは冷静に試合を進めることができたよ」

「後半は良いスピリットを見せられたと思うよ。ボールを支配してプレッシャーの中でも落ち着いてプレーできたのは、フランス戦でも必要になってくるはずだ」

ハーランドが歌舞伎町の居酒屋に出没!23歳の誕生日をケーキで祝ってもらう姿にファンも驚き「本当か!?」「日本でハピバは熱すぎる」
