アヤックスでの4年半で攻撃的スタイルを落とし込み、今季もエールディビジを制したテン・ハグ氏をしても、長らく再建が続くユナイテッドでのミッションは険しいものだが、教え子は環境さえ整えば成功できると感じているようだ。
かつて2014年夏からの4年間をユナイテッドで過ごしたブリントは元オランダ代表MFのアンディ・ファン・デル・メイデ氏によるYouTube番組『Bij Andy in de Auto』でテン・ハグ氏の監督としての一面とともに見解を示した。

心筋炎のアヤックスDFブリントが装着するICDの問題で練習試合で途中交代…
アヤックスのオランダ代表DFデイリー・ブリントがICD(植え込み型除細動器)の問題によって、プレシーズンマッチで途中交代を余儀なくされた。オランダ『Ziggo Sport』が伝えている。 ブリントは25日にヨハン・クライフ・アレーナで行われたヘルタ・ベルリン(1-0で勝利)とのプレシーズンマッチに先発出場。だが、試合終盤に体内に埋め込まれているICDのスイッチが切れたことにより、79分に途中交代を強いられた。 ただ、ブリントは交代時に自らの足でピッチを離れており、エリック・テン・ハグ監督も試合後の取材に対して、「彼には症状がない。精密検査を行い、その結果を待ってから今後の決断をする」と、現時点では体調不良などの問題はないとしている。 なお、ブリントは昨年12月に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のバレンシア戦で眩暈に悩まされ、その後に精密検査を受けた際に心筋炎と診断された。そして、ICDを装着した後、今年2月にトレーニングに復帰していた。 2020.08.26 14:12 Wed

香川真司がユナイテッド退団の転機を明らかに 「ディ・マリアとファルカオがやって来て…」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

「後悔が1つある」カントナが“カンフーキック”事件を回顧「もっと強く蹴っていれば…」
