29日に行われるユーロ2020のラウンド16でイングランド代表と対戦するドイツ代表。4大会連続となるベスト8進出を目指し、ウェンブリー・スタジアムに乗り込む。

今季からチェルシーでプレーするハヴァーツにとっても知る顔が多い相手との対戦になるなか、会見で「僕らにとってもビッグマッチになるだろうし、ファンにとっても特別な試合になるだろうね」とコメント。この一戦が誰にとっても重要であることを強調した。

また、MFメイソン・マウントや、DFベン・チルウェルらチェルシーでのチームメイトも擁する相手については「世界成功の選手たちがたくさんいる。彼らを過小評価してはいけないよ」と警戒を強めつつ、「僕らだって素晴らしいチームだ」と自信を示した。

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに

批判も受けたドイツ代表ユニフォームに問題…ナチスの「SS」に類似との指摘を受け「4」のフォントを変更、アディダスは購入中止に
