チェルシーのイングランド代表DFベン・チルウェルに、公式戦出場の可能性があるようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。
2020年夏に加入して以来、数多くの負傷に悩まされながらも主力の1人として左サイドを支えてきたチルウェル。しかし、今シーズンにエンツォ・マレスカ監督が就任すると構想外の扱いとなり、移籍を模索しながらも結局チームに残留となっていた。
以前にマレスカ監督は構想外の選手をチームに戻す可能性はないと話していたこともあり、扱いが注目されていたチルウェルだったが、16日のチームトレーニングに参加。指揮官との関係が構築されつつあり、戦力として見なされる期待も持たれていた。
そんな中で、24日に行われるEFLカップ(カラバオカップ)3回戦でEFLリーグ2(イングランド4部)に所属するバローと対戦するチェルシー。事前記者会見に出席したマレスカ監督は、チルウェルらここまで出場機会を得られていない選手たちに出番を与える可能性を示唆した。
「彼ら(チルウェルたち)はバロー戦のメンバーに入るだろう。先発するかどうかについてはこれからの判断になる。だが、先発しなかったとしても全員がベンチに入ると思う」

チェルシーのスタジアム計画に動き…先日に新スタジアム建設報道もブリッジ残留へ?
チェルシーは、今後もスタンフォード・ブリッジに残留する可能性があるようだ。イギリス『サン』が報じている。 1877年に開場されたスタンフォード・ブリッジは1905年からチェルシーの本拠地として100年以上に渡って使用されている。1998年に改修工事が行われたものの、老朽化や4万2000人と言われる収容人数の問題もあって、近年では大幅な収容人数を目的とした拡張工事、あるいは新スタジアム移転の計画が話し合われてきた。 そんななか、先日にはスタンフォード・ブリッジ近郊のアールズコートに6万人収容の新スタジアムを建設する可能性が報じられていた。 ただ、スタンフォード・ブリッジ拡張案とアールズコートでの新スタジアム建設案を巡っては、先月に“内紛”が報じられたベフダド・エグバリ氏とトッド・ベーリー氏の共同オーナー2人の間で意見が真っ向からぶつかり合っているという。 エグバリ氏はブリッジに留まるために15億ポンド(約2878億円)の改修案を支持。この計画には5万5000人の収容増に、ウエストスタンドの近代化、近隣の鉄道線路上にコンクリートデッキを建設、クラブが退役軍人慈善団体ストールから購入した土地の利用なども含まれているという。 スタンフォード・ブリッジの土地に新スタジアムを建設する場合、少なくとも5年の期間を必要とするのに対して、この拡張案では2年程度で工事が完了する見込みだという。 これに対して、ベーリー氏はアールズコートに新スタジアムを建設する案を支持している模様。 『サン』は関係者筋からの情報として、「アールズコートは実現不可能だという認識が高まっており、ベーリーは間もなくクラブを去る可能性がある」、「トッド・ベーリーが退任した場合、クラブはスタンフォード・ブリッジに残る計画を進め、5万5000人収容のスタジアムの解決策に向けて取り組むとみられる」と現時点ではブリッジ残留の可能性が高く、ベーリー氏がクラブを離れる可能性が高いとの見解を示している。 2024.10.13 23:51 Sun

「とっても爽やか」「色鮮やか」チェルシーの3rdユニはフレッシュなミントグリーン色に!胸スポンサーはまだ決まらず
