サッカーにおいて、1試合で3得点以上を決めることを表す「ハットトリック」。元々はクリケットで打者を三者連続アウトにすることをそう呼んでいた。(クリケットにおいて打者を連続でアウトにすることは相当難易度が高い)サッカー選手にとって、「ハットトリック」は実力を証明する功績でもあるが、そう簡単にはお目にかかれない。この企画『HAT-TRICK HEROES』では記憶に残る「ハットトリック」を紹介していく。
今回は、元フランス代表FWティエリ・アンリ氏がバルセロナで決めたハットトリックだ。
アーセナルでレジェンドとしてのステータスを築いたアンリ氏は、2007年夏にバルセロナに加入。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)を果たすなど、多くのタイトルを勝ち取った。
ゴール前での冷静かつ正確無比な動きでバルセロナでも活しっかりと活躍したアンリ氏だが、2008年12月6日に行われたラ・リーガ第14節のバレンシア戦では、華麗なハットトリックを決めている。
続いて27分、MFアレクサンドル・フレブのパスをボックス内で受けると、右足でダイレクトシュート。ゴール右へ正確なシュートを流し込み、前半だけで2ゴールを決めた。
最後は3-0とリードを広げて迎えた80分、ボックス内に侵入し、右サイド深部をえぐったFWボージャン・クルキッチのパスをゴール前で受けると、冷静にシュートをゴール左に決め、ハットトリックを決めてみせた。
全てワンタッチゴールで3点を奪い、ストライカーらしいハットトリックを奪ったアンリ。試合はそのまま4-0でバルセロナが完勝した。

ベルカンプの名ゴールが紙幣に! 98年W杯のスーパーゴールが描かれた8ユーロ紙幣が誕生
