スタッド・レンヌに所属するフランス代表MFエドゥアルド・カマヴィンガ(17)が喜びを露わにしている。イギリス『SPORT bible』が伝えている。弱冠17歳にして、すでにフランス代表デビューを飾り、7日に行われたウクライナ代表戦では代表初ゴールも決めたカマヴィンガ。11日に行われたUEFAネーションズリーグ2020-21リーグA・グループ3第3節のポルトガル代表戦では出場機会がなかったものの、試合後には嬉しい出来事があったようだ。

ポルトガルのエースであり、サッカー界を代表するスーパースターであるFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドとユニフォーム交換をしたという。
カマヴィンガは試合後に自身のスナップチャットを更新。「このシャツは洗わない」というキャプションとともに、C・ロナウドのユニフォームの画像を投稿している。自身の幼少期からのスターのユニフォームはカマヴィンガにとって大切な宝物になるはずだ。

なお、カマヴィンガに対しては、C・ロナウドが所属するユベントスも獲得に興味を示している。

レンヌのGKスティーブ・マンダンダ(37)がフランス代表からの引退を表明した。すでにフランス『レキップ』が報じていた中で、マンダンダ本人からその意向が明かされた。 「今朝、報道を見てびっくりしたよ。でも、確かにそれは本当のことだ。カタールW杯終了後に決めたことだ」 「フランス代表で素晴らしい経験をすることができた。私ももう37歳、若者たちに任せようと思う。これでウーゴ(ロリス)と一緒に丸く収めることができるよ」 「このような中で生きてきたことに誇りと感慨を覚える。今日、フランス代表は私のために寄り添ってくれた。ウーゴと話し合って同じ結論に達したんだ」 「私にとっては理屈ではなく、いろんな季節を生きてきたし、年齢も重ねてきた。その瞬間、ここで止まるのが自然のことだったのだ」 2008年5月のエクアドル代表との親善試合でフランス代表デビューしたマンダンダ。一時レ・ブルーの守護神を務めた時期もあったが、ウーゴ・ロリスが台頭して以降はセカンドGKという立ち位置となった。 それでもフランス代表の常連であり続け、2020年11月に行われた親善試合のフィンランド代表戦ではキャプテンマークも巻いた。そして、チュニジア代表戦に出場した先のカタール・ワールドカップを含め、W杯は3大会、ユーロは4大会出場し、通算では35キャップを数えた。 そして、マンダンダのコメントにもあるように、すでに代表引退を宣言しているロリスとともに、2人の偉大なGKがレ・ブルーに別れを告げることになった。 2023.01.15 15:15 Sun

充実の20歳MFシャビ・シモンズ、現時点でPSG復帰には目を向けず「僕はライプツィヒで幸せ」

オランダ代表MFシャビ・シモンズがRBライプツィヒへの満足感を示した。スペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』が伝えた。 今夏PSVからパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)へと舞い戻ったものの、すぐさまライプツィヒへのレンタル移籍が決まったシャビ・シモンズ。ブンデスリーガ開幕から先発出場を続け、7試合で4ゴール3アシストと好スタートを切っている中、13日にはオランダ代表の一員としてユーロ2024予選のフランス代表戦に臨んだ。 シャビ・シモンズが先発入りしたこの一戦では、フランス代表FWキリアン・ムバッペが2ゴールを決める活躍を見せ、オランダ代表は1-2で敗戦。「月曜日に良い試合をするために、頭を上げなければいけない」と、この20歳は早くも次のギリシャ代表戦に目を向けた一方、ムバッペを中心としたフランス代表の強さを高く評価した。 「彼(ムバッペ)はハイレベルな選手だが、彼だけではない。フランス代表は非常にソリッドだ。いずれにしても、(PSGで)以前一緒にプレーした選手と対戦できるのはいつだって嬉しいことだ」 また、シーズン終了後にPSGに戻るのかどうかを問われたシャビ・シモンズは、ライプツィヒで戦う今シーズンだけに集中していると述べた。 「僕はライプツィヒで幸せだし、他のことは考えていない。僕たちの前には非常にエキサイティングなシーズンが待っている」 2023.10.14 21:48 Sat
