マンチェスターユナイテッドに所属するフランス代表MFポール・ポグバ(26)に対して、同情の声が挙がっている。イギリス『マンチェスター・イブニング・ニュース』が伝えた。 2016年夏にユベントスから当時の世界最高額でユナイテッド復帰を果たしたポグバ。しかし、チームの復権が進まないなかで、ポグバは屈指のスタープレーヤーであることも災いして、何かと批判の声が集中している。

そんなポグバは今シーズンも度重なる故障でチームの力になり切れておらず、ここまで公式戦8試合の出場のみ。それと平行して、退団の憶測が飛び交い続け、より反感を買いやすいシチュエーションに陥っている。

元イングランド代表FWのダレン・ベント氏は、イギリス『talk SPORT』でそのポグバの状況にこうコメント。同情の声を挙げ、移籍を勧めた。
「ユナイテッドがポグバを売却するという話が出たら、多くのチームが獲得に名乗りを上げてくると思う」

「周りの人々はユナイテッドがポグバを手放さなければならなくなるだろうと話しているが、ポグバなら自分の望み通りのクラブに行ける」

イギリス長者番付が発表! アスリートで1位はベッカム氏の記録を更新

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー
