▽2015-16シーズン、レスター・シティの奇跡のプレミア優勝の立役者の1人として、一気にその名を世界中に知らしめたカンテ。先のロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)でも、フランス代表の中心選手として20年ぶりの優勝に大きく貢献。その優勝セレモニーでは、トロフィーに触りたくても触れない、シャイすぎるカンテが話題に。フットボールの才能だけでなく、あまりに奥手な性格にも注目が集まっている。

▽そんな中、9日に行われたUEFAネイションズリーグ・リーグA・グループ1のオランダ代表戦(2-1でフランス代表が勝利)は、W杯優勝後初のスタッド・ド・フランス凱旋ということで、試合後にW杯優勝セレモニーが改めて行われた。その際、チーム随一の功労者であるカンテを称えるチャントが、世界的な楽曲『オー・シャンゼリゼ』の替え歌で歌われた。代表選手一同だけでなくスタジアムに集まったサポーターやファンも巻き込んだ大合唱となり、いかにカンテが愛されているかがわかるシーンだった。
▽縁の下の力持ちとして、どんなチームでも大きな影響を与えるカンテ。それにもかかわらず、驕るどころか極度のシャイとあれば、愛されて当然か。6日にフランス代表と対戦し、チェルシーでもチームメイトであるドイツ代表DFアントニオ・リュディガーは自身のツイッターで「おそらく、フットボール界で最も感染力の高い笑顔だ」として2人がピッチ上で笑い合う写真を公開。このツイートに多くの「いいね!」が集まっている。

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」

ムバッペのお父さんもすごかった!?アザールのアシストから華麗なゴールを沈め、息子も反応「カメルーンバージョンのロナウドだ」
