ボルシアMGのドイツ代表DFマティアス・ギンター(26)に複数のクラブが関心を示しているようだ。

2017年夏にドルトムントから加入したギンター。190㎝の長身を生かした守備が特徴で、若くしてドイツ代表にも選出された屈指のセンターバックだ。今季はブンデスリーガ31試合に出場し、クラブのチャンピオンズリーグ出場権獲得に大きく貢献した。

そんなギンターに注目しているクラブは多く、ドイツ『スカイ』によればインテルが年俸1000万ユーロ(約12億3200万円)のオファーを用意していると言われており、一方でアーセナルやチェルシー、さらにはアトレティコ・マドリーも関心を寄せているようだ。

ボルシアMGのスポーツ・ディレクターを務めるマックス・エベール氏は「我々のようなクラブは常に不道徳な移籍金に屈してしまう可能性があることを念頭に置いておかなければならない」と、ドイツ『ビルト』の取材でコメント。中堅クラブが主力選手を慰留することは困難であることを語った。

ギンターとボルシアMGの契約は2021年までだが、1年の延長オプションが付随しているとのこと。市場価値は2800万ユーロ(約34億5000万円)と決して安くはないが、果たして今夏のステップアップはあるのだろうか。
