解任も噂されるトッテナムのアントニオ・コンテ監督が続投に意欲を示している。イギリス『フットボール・ロンドン』が伝えている。
今季のトッテナムは序盤戦こそまずまずの成績だったが、秋から黒星が増加。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)はラウンド16で敗退し、プレミアリーグでは暫定的に4位につけるも、2試合消化が少ない5位ニューカッスルとは4ポイント差で、いつCL圏外に転落してもおかしくない。
そんな状況下で指揮官の解任が噂されるのは必然の流れ。また、コンテ監督はここ半年間でトッテナムのフィジカルコーチを務めたジャンピエロ・ヴェントローネ氏、前ボローニャ指揮官のシニシャ・ミハイロビッチ氏、元イタリア代表FWジャンルカ・ヴィアッリ氏という十数年来の親友3人を亡くし、つい先日までは自身も体調不良で静養と、心労も心配されている。
トッテナムとの契約も今季終了までとなっているが、本人いわく、世界最高のリーグと称えられるプレミアリーグで指揮を執っているという事実が最大のモチベーションであり、向上心も捨てていないと語っている。
「プレミアリーグでプレーする、コーチになるには、この素晴らしい舞台に立ち向かう準備ができていなければならないということだ。常に重要な選手、クラブ、コーチとの対戦であり、私のモチベーションは非常に。いつだって強いチームを持ちたいと思っている」

ペッレグリーニはローマ退団へ? ラニエリ監督「オファーがあれば、我々はそれを評価するつもり」

「僕が何をしたってあの男は…」トッテナムで主力に成長のDFスペンス、かつての指揮官コンテから受けた冷遇振り返り「謙虚になりすぎた」

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

「イケすぎてませんか」イタリア代表が白×金の125周年記念ユニフォームを発表!「美しい」「マジでかっこいい」
