ユーロ2024をもってイングランド代表監督辞任のサウスゲイト氏。イギリス『ミラー』によると、同氏はUEFAから届いた技術委員会常任メンバーの就任オファーを受諾したという。
ユーロ直前には昨季のチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝、レアル・マドリーvsドルトムントの技術報告書作成にもテクニカルオブザーバーとして招かれていたサウスゲイト氏。
技術委員会の仕事をざっくり言うと、コーチングの観点から試合を分析し、試合中に起きる“新たな傾向”を見つける、というもの。最先端の視覚化ツールと膨大な量のデータも用いる「アナリスト」だ。
著名なところでは、オーレ・グンナー・スールシャール氏やファビオ・カペッロ氏などが技術委員会に在籍。今回、サウスゲイト氏とともに前ウェストハム指揮官のデイビッド・モイーズ氏も常任メンバー入りとなるようだ。

サウスゲイト元イングランド代表監督が大英帝国勲章最高位サーの称号を授与

ファン・ニステルローイ退任濃厚のレスター、前イングランド代表暫定指揮官らが後任候補か?

元ユナイテッドSDがFAに復帰…新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任

フランスW杯の戦犯が…ベッカム史上最高のFKから20年「特別な瞬間だった」

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」
