ベルギー代表のGKティボー・クルトワが怒りをあらわにした。ベルギーは27日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)グループF第2節でモロッコ代表と対戦。相手の堅守を崩し切れず、ロマン・サイスの直接FKで先制を許すと、終盤には追加点も奪われて0-2で敗れた。

『ESPN』は試合後に怒りをあらわにドレッシングルームへと引き上げるベルギー守護神の様子を、「クルトワは熱くなった」と紹介している。
ピッチを出て、中央の放送カメラや第4審の山下良美さんの脇を抜けたクルトワは、審判団用のベンチ脇に八つ当たり。激しくこぶしを叩きつける姿が目撃された。

この行為に対しては、ファンから非難と擁護が。「自分に怒るべきです」、「あの笑い方もイラつく」、「彼らはベテラン過ぎるのでは」、「考えすぎないでください、(ケイロル・)ナバスも手を焼きました」などの声や、「これが(クリスティアーノ・)ロナウドだったら、キャプションは「ロナウドは今日スタンドにダメージを与えることでプロらしくない行動をとった」だっただろう」といった声が寄せられることとなった。
1勝1敗でグループ3位となったベルギーだが、12月1日第3節のクロアチア代表戦に勝利すればグループステージ突破が確定。引き分けの場合でもカナダvsモロッコの結果いかんでは可能性が残る。

前回大会は3位に終わったベルギー。悲願の初優勝へ向け、守護神の再起が期待される。

レアルDFが結婚式! 相手はモデルで双子のウエディング・プランナー、チームメイトも参列し祝福

「突き抜けてる(笑)」ベルギー代表の“ダサセーター” 姿が笑撃「デ・ブライネ内股」

頭部同士が激しく激突、動けず12分間も治療…担架で運ばれたイングランド女子代表DFにはスタンドから拍手
