ジュピラー・プロ・リーグ開幕から6試合で2勝2分け2敗の10位につけるシント=トロイデン。17日の第7節では3連勝中のメヘレンをホームに迎え撃った。

ここ4試合で勝ち星なしのシント=トロイデンだが、右ウィングバックで先発した橋岡が33分にボックス右のスペースでボールを受けると、左ポストを叩く右足シュートを決め、先制する。
この1点リードを保って試合を折り返すと、敵陣でボール奪取に成功した63分に伊藤がボックス左に走り込み、味方からのリターンパスを受け、ニアサイドに右足シュート。2-0とした。

4年目の橋岡と1年目の伊藤が揃ってゴールのシント=トロイデンは守りも鈴木彩艶を中心に無失点で凌ぎ切り、5試合ぶりの白星を手にしている。
なお、この試合では上述の橋岡、伊藤、鈴木が先発し、山本理仁と藤田譲瑠チマが途中出場。岡崎慎司はベンチ入りしたものの、出番なしだった。

平均年齢24.5歳の日本代表、“旬”よりも優先した将来の壮大な目標を見据えたメンバー選考【日本代表コラム】

「2026年に向けて、チーム力を上げていく、成長を考えながらこれまで通り目の前の一戦で勝利を目指す」 そう語ったのは森保一監督。日本サッカー史上初となるW杯後の続投となり、日本代表を8年間率いることになる初の指揮官が、リスタートに向けたメンバー発表会見の冒頭に語った。 2022年のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、多くの海外組を招集し、死の組ともいわれたグループステージでは、W杯王者を経験したドイツ代表、スペイン代表に逆転勝利。世界中を驚かせるパフォーマンスを見せた。 「ベスト8以上」という目標を掲げて臨み、下馬評こそ高くなかったが、ラウンド16に進出すると前回大会準優勝のクロアチア代表相手に善戦。PK戦の末に敗れ、またしてもベスト16での敗退となったが、それでも大きな熱狂を生み、続投が決定した。 2期目を迎える中で、初陣となるウルグアイ代表戦とコロンビア代表戦に向けたメンバーが発表される中、「カタールW杯のメンバーを中心」にして行くと語っていた森保監督。ベテラン勢の扱いや、環境を変えた選手たちの扱いが注目を集めた中でメンバーが発表された。 正直なところ、個人的な感想としては「思ったよりも先を見据えている」というものだった。ある種驚きにも似た感情が沸いていた。 ベテラン勢を招集しないということはある程度予想されDF長友佑都(FC東京)やDF酒井宏樹(浦和レッズ)らが外れたが、キャプテンを務めたDF吉田麻也(シャルケ)も選外というのはいうのは意外だった。もちろんチームが熾烈な残留争いを繰り広げていることなども理由としてあるだろうが、ホスピタリティ精神を持つ森保監督であれば、W杯を終えての凱旋試合にも当たるため、キャプテンは招集するかと思っていた。 「選ばれてもおかしくない活躍をJリーグでもブンデスでも見せてくれている」とコメントはしたが、選んだのは選手層をより広げていくこと。2026年の北中米W杯だけでなく、さらにその先も見据えていることが感じられる人選となった。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆2026年、さらにその先を見据えて</span> そしてその代わりに最終ラインを任せるために初招集されたのが、DF角田涼太朗(横浜F・マリノス)、DFバングーナガンデ佳史扶(FC東京)、DF半田陸(ガンバ大阪)の若手3名。さらに、代表歴はあるDF菅原由勢(AZ)、DF橋岡大樹(シント=トロイデン)、DF瀬古歩夢(グラスホッパー)と東京オリンピック代表として呼んだこともある選手を招集した。 DF登録の選手の平均年齢は、カタールW杯時の8名で29.1歳だが、今回のメンバー9名の平均年齢は22.9歳、最年長が26歳の板倉滉(ボルシアMG)と変貌を遂げた。 チーム全体で見ても、最年少はGKシュミット・ダニエル(シント=トロイデン)の31歳。30代は他に、MF遠藤航(シュツットガルト)とMF伊東純也(スタッド・ランス)だけとなっており、平均年齢は24.5歳。4年後だけでなく、その先に繋げるためのメンバーをまずは呼んだということ。目の前の試合で勝つためにベストを尽くしながらも、しっかりと強化していく意思が見えたメンバーとなった。 もちろん、シーズン26ゴールを決めているFW古橋亨梧(セルティック)や開幕から出色の出来を見せているMF伊藤涼太郎(アルビレックス新潟)など、招集が期待されていながら呼ばれていない選手もまだまだいる。 彼らは今回のメンバーには選ばれなかったが、決して道が閉ざされたわけでもない。結果を残しても意味がないという見方もできなくはないが、中長期にチームを作ることを考えた末での選考ということだろう。 森保監督は「今後に向かっていく中でベストなメンバーを選んだ」とコメント。「2026年に向けて最強のチームを作るために、1回1回のベストの活動をして行く中、ベストの活動が人が限定ではないということ。より幅を広げながら、チーム力を上げて行く」とコメントしている。 最強とはなんなのか。あくまでも本番は2026年のW杯であり、そこで目標を達成するために今からベストを積み上げて行きたいという森保監督。今輝いている“旬”な選手を呼ぶことだけがベストではないという姿勢は、本気で3年後に結果を残すための準備としては間違ってはいないのかもしれない。 「2026年のW杯というよりも、2050年までに日本サッカー協会がW杯で日本代表が優勝するという宣言をしていますので、そこに向けて我々はやるべきかなと思っています」 「世界一というところを目標に、今持っている力をどれだけ上げていけるかを常に考えなければいけないと思います」 森保監督は会見で今後の展望についても語っており、目先の試合、活動を大事にしながらも、遥か先を見据えているとした。どういった成長を見せていくのか。まずは初陣を楽しみにしていきたい。 《超ワールドサッカー編集部・菅野剛史》 2023.03.16 12:50 Thu

欧州の登竜門シント=トロイデン、イメージガールの撮影会が決定!公式半被衣装のほかニットワンピや水着撮影も

シャルケは間に合わず…イングランドから最後のオファーはクラブ間合意も鈴木優磨が拒否

シュミット・ダニエルがクラブ・ブルージュに? 本間至恩と同僚か…控えGK重傷で関心強まる

【2022年カタールへ期待の選手⑭】イランのメッシを完封。短期間で飛躍的成長を遂げる近未来の日本最終ラインの大黒柱/冨安健洋(シント=トロイデン/DF)

最新のFIFAランク29位で、2019年アジアカップ(UAE)に入ってからも5戦全勝・12得点無失点という破竹の勢いで準決勝まで勝ち上がってきたイラン。「アジア最強」と評された相手に、森保一監督率いる新生ジャパンがどう戦うのか。そこは28日の準決勝(アル・アイン)最大の注目点だった。 勝利の重要なカギと言われたのが、イランの24歳のエースFWサルダール・アズムーン(ルビン・カザン)を封じること。長友佑都(ガラタサライ)が「彼は全盛期のカカほどではないけど、カカみたいなプレーヤーだなと。足も速くてゴールも狙えてパスも出せる。怖い危険なプレーヤーだと思います」と警戒心を露わにしたほどだった。 絶対的1トップのマークは吉田麻也(サウサンプトン)と冨安健洋(シント=トロイデン)の両センターバックに託されたが、弱冠20歳のDFが担った役割は特に大きかった。イランの攻撃はGKビランヴァンド(ペルセポリス)の70mスローイン、あるいは球際を強さを生かして奪ったボールをタテに展開するカウンターが中心。アズムーンが一発でゴール前に飛び出す形から数々の決定機を作ってきた。冨安はその鋭い動き出しに反応してフリーにさせない。背後に抜け出されそうになっても間一髪で体を張り、ピンチを阻止し続ける。「イランのメッシ」と呼ばれる男はこの粘り強い守りに苛立ち、終盤には柴崎岳(ヘタフェ)の顔を手でつかむという悪態をつくほどまで混乱した。そこまで追い込んだ冨安の駆け引きは高く評価された 「相手はイライラしてたんですかね。長友さんとかが前半やりあっていたみたいに言ってましたけど、僕は気づいてなかった(笑)。そんな余裕もないですし。自分のプレーに集中することだけを意識していました」と語った背番号16からは、若者らしい必死さと何事にも動じない大物感の両方が感じられた。そこが冨安健洋という新世代の大型センターバックの大きな魅力なのかもしれない。 13歳で年代別代表の活動をスタートさせ、17歳でアビスパ福岡のトップチームに昇格。18歳でレギュラーをつかむなど、彼は10代から順調なキャリアを歩んできた。2017年U-20ワールドカップ(韓国)に参戦時には「世界的に有名な選手になりたいですし、もちろんA代表に行って中心としてやりたい気持ちはあります」と野心をのぞかせていたが、あれから1年半でA代表の定位置を確保するとは本人も予想だにしていなかっただろう。 「環境が変わったのが大きいと思います。ベルギーに行って試合に出させてもらったのが成長の大きな要因の1つかなと。もし海外で試合に出てなかったら、ここ(代表)にも来れてないと思う。DFはやられることが多いし、僕もU-20ワールドカップ・ベネズエラ戦でのミスとかいろんな失敗を繰り返してきた。もともとポジティブなタイプじゃないし、ネガティブになる時もありますけど、前を向いてやり続けるしかない。何度も立ち上がってきたから、成長できていると思いたいです」と冨安はトライ&エラーを繰り返してここまでたどり着いたことを明かした。 A代表入りしてからの成長曲線も凄まじい。今回のアジアカップを見ても、9日の初戦・トルクメニスタン戦(アブダビ)ではボランチで起用され、危なっかしい場面を幾度となく見せていたのに、本職のセンターバックに入った13日のオマーン戦(アブダビ)以降は落ち着きを増していった。当初はともに最終ラインを形成する吉田や長友、酒井宏樹(マルセイユ)ら年長者の合わせがちだったが、徐々に自らイニシアチブを取りながら周りを動かす場面も多くなった。「周りに動かされている状況だとワンテンポ遅れるし、自分からアクションを起こした方がやっぱり早くなる。そこは意識してますね」と冨安自身も前向きに言う。 こうした進化を顕著に感じさせたのが、21日のラウンド16・サウジアラビア戦(シャルジャ)だ。ボール支配率23.7%という近年の日本代表にはあり得なかった苦境の中、冨安は決して集中を切らすことなく相手FW陣をストップし、値千金の決勝弾も叩き込んだ。このMVP級の働きが20歳のDFの自信を大いに深めたのは間違いない。 「サウジアラビア戦でゴールも取れて、気持ち的に楽になったし、よりポジティブに向かえるようになったのはありますね。今も不安がないわけではないけど、いかに自分に自信を持たせることができるかがすごく大事ですから」と彼はメンタル的にいい状態を維持しつつ、高い領域まで上り詰めてきたのだ。 イランという高い壁を乗り越えた冨安がもう1つクリアしなければならないのが、2月1日のファイナルで対戦するカタールだ。2022年ワールドカップ開催国には今大会得点ランキングトップの8ゴールを奪っているエースFWアルモエズ・アリ(アル・ドゥハイル)を筆頭に個人能力の優れたアタッカーが複数いる。アズムーンは高さで勝負するタイプだったが、カタールの前線はスピード系中心。となれば、冨安は苦手な部分にトライしなければいけなくなる。そこで本当に敵を零封し、アジアの頂点に輝くことができれば、代表レギュラー定着はもちろんのこと、欧州ビッグクラブへのステップアップの道も開けてくる。 「冨安はホントにすごい。規格外だね。20代でこの舞台、この緊張感の中、あの落ち着きでプレーできる。どんどん飛躍してビッグクラブで戦える選手になってほしい」とかつてインテルで戦った長友にも太鼓判を押された男には、日本人DFが到達できなかった領域にたどり着いてほしい。そのためにもカタールとのファイナルは絶対に負けられない。 2019.01.31 23:00 Thu
