また、古巣であるスポルティングCPが獲得に向けて接触したものの、C・ロナウドはあくまでCL優勝を目指せるトップクラブ移籍を望んでいることから、実現の可能性は低い模様だ。
移籍市場も終盤に差し掛かるなか、いまだ獲得に接近するクラブは現れていないが、ドイツ『ビルト』ら複数メディアによると、現在37歳はドルトムント移籍を希望しており、代理人のジョルジュ・メンデス氏が売り込みを図っているという。
