サガン鳥栖でもプレーした元スペイン代表FWフェルナンド・トーレス氏が、かつてのチームメイトを祝福した。2019シーズン途中に鳥栖で現役を引退したトーレス。現在はスペインに戻り指導者ライセンス取得に動いており、アトレティコ・マドリーの下部組織で経験を積んでいる状況だ。
そのトーレス氏は、同じアトレティコでプレーした生え抜き選手であり、チームでキャプテンを務めるMFコケが、スペイン代表で初めてキャプテンを務めたことを祝福。お祝いのメッセージを送った。
「代表チームでの初めてのキャプテンおめでとう」
「君は僕らにとって、アトレティコのために毎週キャプテンを務めることを光栄に思っていることを知っている」

トーレス氏、リバプールからチェルシーに移籍した理由を告白「私には時間がなかった」
元スペイン代表FWフェルナンド・トーレス氏が、かつてリバプールからチェルシーに移籍した理由をイギリス『talkSPORT』のインタビューで説明した。 プロデビューしたアトレティコ・マドリーで名を馳せ、2007年にリバプールに加入したトーレス氏。リバプールには3年半在籍し、公式戦142試合で81ゴールを挙げる活躍を披露した。 しかし、全盛期を過ごしていた中で2011年1月にチェルシーに電撃移籍。トーレス氏はインタビューで当時を振り返り、リバプールで幸せだったこと、移籍せざるを得ない状況にあったことを赤裸々に告白した。 「リバプールで本当に幸せだった。だけどクラブが売却に動いていると知ったら状況はとても困難になる」 「彼らは全ての主力選手を売却した。ハビエル・マスチェラーノにシャビ・アロンソ、ラファエル・ベニテスもそうだ。代わりに若い選手たちを獲得し始めていた」 「彼らは6年から7年かけて勝てるチームを作ろうとしていた。だが私にはそれを待つ余裕なんてなかった。アトレティコというホームから出たのはトロフィーを勝ち取るためだったからね」 「残念なことに、当時のリバプールのオーナーには嘘が多かったから最終的に自分の道を見つける必要があった。それがチェルシーだった。チェルシーは私にトロフィーを獲得するチャンスを与えてくれるクラブだと思ったんだ」 そのチェルシーではチャンピオンズリーグやヨーロッパリーグ、FAカップなど、渇望していたトロフィーを獲得した。しかし、決して大活躍だったとは言い難く、加入から初ゴールまでに903分間も要したことは、華々しいキャリアにおいて誇れるものではなかった。 「順応に時間がかかったのは私のせいかもしれない。本当に素晴らしい時間を過ごしたが、一貫したものではなかった。そうなるとチェルシーのようなビッグクラブでは誰か別の選手がやってきて自分のポジションを奪っていくんだ」 「スター選手がいっぱいの中でシーズン途中の加入だったから適応するのは本当に苦労したよ。もしかしたらリバプールでのようなパートナシップは築けていなかったかもしれない。でもそれは自分のせいだと常に言ってきた。その解決策を見つけるのに十分なキャリアを積んでいたけど出来なかったんだ」 「でも幸せだよ。望んでいたトロフィーを手にすることが出来たし、素晴らしいフットボールをすることが出来たからね」 2020.09.16 18:06 Wed

ドイツの万能アタッカー、シュールレがチェルシーで決めた唯一のハットトリック【ハットトリック・ヒーローズ】

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」

「間違いを犯しました」ゲイ告白騒動のカシージャス、「僕らの話をする時が…」と茶化したプジョールが謝罪
