ルーニーとヴァーディの妻同士の名誉毀損問題、ルーニー夫人側の裁判費用約2.5億をヴァーディ夫人が支払いへ…総額約5億円
元イングランド代表FWウェイン・ルーニーと元イングランド代表FWジェイミー・ヴァーディの妻同士が揉めた問題で、弁護士費用に関して決着がついたようだ。イギリス『BBC』が伝えた。 この問題はかつてイングランド代表で共に戦った2人ではなく、その妻。ルーニーの妻であるコリーンさん[写真右]とヴァーディの妻であるレベッカさん[写真左]の間に起きた。 コリーンさんは、過去数年にわたって、自身のプライベートに関わる情報が、ことごとくイギリス『サン』に掲載。コリーンさんのインスタグラムからの情報がほとんどだったが、そのアカウントは一部のフォロワーにしか知られないものであり、特にストーリーズの内容が掲載されていた。 そこでコリーンさんは囮捜査を敢行。5カ月間にわたり、ストーリーズの公開範囲をフォロワー1人1人に限定し、誰に公開した情報が『サン』に掲載されるのかを待っていた。そして突き止めた犯人が、ヴァーディの妻のレベッカさんだった。 その囮捜査は2019年に行われ、犯人を突き止めたコリーンさんはツイッターを通じてレベッカさんが犯人だを糾弾。しかし、当然ながらレベッカさんは否定。情報を流したことはないとし、ハッカーによって抜き取られたというなんとも苦しい言い訳を続けていた。 イングランド代表のストライカーの妻同士のいざこざ。収拾がつかなくなり、最終的には裁判に発展。結果、今年7月にコリーンさんの告発は「実質的に真実」との判決を下し、レベッカさんが「事実を知り、容認し、積極的に関わっていた」可能性が高いこととなっていた。 裁判も無事に終わった中、今度はその費用が問題に。被害者であるコリーンさんは100%レベッカさんが支払うべきだと主張。一方のレベッカさんは80%だと主張していた。 そんな中、裁判所から文書が届き、レベッカさんは弁護士費用の90%の支払いが命じられたとのこと。11月15日までにまずは80万ポンド(約1億3000万円)の支払いが必要になったとのことだ。 コリーンさんの弁護士チームは最終的な費用を提出していないようだが、裁判所が最後に受け取ったものだと166万7860ポンドとのこと。90%はおよそ150万ポンド(約2億4700万円)になる。 ちなみに、これはコリーンさんの弁護士費用であり、自身のものも含めれば300万ポンド(約4億9500万円)は超えることになると見られている。 2022.10.05 18:50 Wed

元ユナイテッドSDがFAに復帰…新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任
元マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのスポーツディレクター(SD)、ダン・アシュワース氏が、イングランドサッカー協会(FA)に復帰することになった。 FAは14日、アシュワース氏が新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任すると発表。同職ではイングランド代表の男女チームと緊密に連携していくことになるという。 昨年12月にユナイテッドのSDをわずか5カ月で退任したアシュワース氏。それ以前にはブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン、ニューカッスルで手腕を発揮しており、国内外のクラブからのオファーも想定されていたが、2018年まで6年間に渡って勤務していたFAに復帰することになった。 アシュワース氏は、セント・ジョージズ・パークの再開発を監督し、2028年に開催されるユーロ2028の共催に向け、競技施設とピッチの改善を目指す。 さらに、この新役職は、男子フットボールのテクニカルディレクターであるジョン・マクダーモット氏と緊密に連携するとともに、FAの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるマーク・ブリンガム氏とも連携する。 また、イングランド国内の地元出身のコーチの育成にも携わる予定だという。 2025.05.15 16:30 Thu

フランスW杯の戦犯が…ベッカム史上最高のFKから20年「特別な瞬間だった」

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】
