クラブW杯から除外されたクラブ・レオンの訴えは棄却、ハメスも出場ならず…残り1枠はPOで決定か
6月にアメリカで行われる新フォーマットのクラブ・ワールドカップ(W杯)だが、出場権を剥奪されたクラブ・レオンの訴えは実らなかったようだ。 2023年のCONCACAFチャンピオンズリーグを制覇し、6月14日に開幕する新CWCの出場権を獲得したクラブ・レオン。しかし、開幕まで3カ月を切った3月下旬に国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)が出場を認めないことを発表した。 クラブ・レオンは、メキシコの名門であるパチューカと共に『Grupo Pachuca』がオーナーを務めているクラブ。同一オーナーのクラブは出られないとし、クラブ・レオンが大会から除外されることとなった。 この決定に対し、クラブ・レオンは訴訟を起こしスポーツ仲裁裁判所(CAS)に依頼。しかし、大会規則に同一オーナーのクラブは出られないと明記してあり、訴えは棄却された。 また、その代替チームとして主張していたコスタリカのアラフエレンセだったが、出場は認められず。現時点で公式には発表されていないが、FIFAはプレーオフで1チームを決定する予定とのことだ。 今大会には、バルセロナやリバプール、アーセナルなどの名門クラブも参加しない状況だが、プレーオフはリーガMXのチャンピオンであるクラブ・アメリカと、メジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のチャンピオンであるロサンゼルスFCの間で行われることになるとのことだ。なお、5月31日に開催される見込みだという。 2025.05.07 07:45 Wed
