なでしこ熊谷紗希が代表通算150試合、南萌華も通算50試合出場達成

アメリカ遠征のSheBelieves Cup2024を経て、なでしこジャパンのDF熊谷紗希が6日のアメリカ女子代表戦で代表通算150試合出場、南萌華が9日のブラジル女子代表戦で同50試合出場を達成した。熊谷は2008年3月7日のキプロスカップ、カナダ女子代表戦に途中出場し、佐々木則夫監督(現:女子委員長)の元で高校2年生時になでしこジャパンデビュー。2011年ドイツ女子ワールドカップ(W杯)や2012年ロンドン・オリンピックでは、主軸として優勝、銀メダル獲得に大きく貢献。2015年カナダ女子W杯でも準優勝を経験した。 2017年、高倉麻子前監督にキャプテンに任命され、2019年フランス女子W杯や東京オリンピック2020に出場。池田太監督からも引き続いて主将に任命され、2023年オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯ではベスト8入り。パリ・オリンピック出場権の獲得にも貢献した。ブラジル戦では控えに回ったが、これまでなでしこジャパン通算150試合に出場し、2得点をマークしている。南はU-17、U-20と育成年代の女子W杯2代制覇を経験し、2019年3月2日のSheBelieves Cupブラジル戦にてなでしこジャパンデビュー。早々に代表へ定着し、フランス女子W杯メンバーにも選出され、初戦のアルゼンチン女子代表戦でW杯出場も果たした。東京オリンピックにも出場し、2023年の女子W杯では完全な主軸に。なでしこジャパンでは通算50試合に出場し、4ゴールをマーク。なでしこデビューとなったSheBelieves Cupのブラジル戦という、同じシチュエーションで節目を飾ることとなった。 2024.04.10 20:05 Wed

「正解を選択するのではなく、自分の選択を正解にする」長友佑都が改めて心境、今後は「感情たちと会話しながら決めたい」

日本代表として4大会連続でワールドカップに出場したDF長友佑都(FC東京)が、改めて将来について心境を綴った。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を戦った日本代表のメンバーは、7日にカタールから帰国。多くの感動をもらったファン・サポーターが空港に駆けつけ、多くの歓迎を受けていた。 2010年の南アフリカ大会からブラジル、ロシア、そしてカタールと4大会連続でW杯に出場した長友は、全試合に出場し通算出場数は15試合に。これは日本人としての歴代最多出場数となっている。決して恵まれた体格ではない長友だが、プロ入りするとすぐに日本代表に呼ばれ、その後すぐにセリエAへと移籍。明治大学時代はスタンドで太鼓を持っていた時期もあった中で一気にスターダムを駆け上がり、名門・インテルでもプレー。その後、ガラタサライやマルセイユといった名門クラブでもプレーし、日本へと帰還した。 W杯前は限界説が出るなど、パフォーマンスに批判も及んだが、逆境を乗り越え、ベテランとしての経験値を示すと、本大会ではドイツ代表やスペイン代表といった世界のトップクラスのチームとも互角に渡り歩いた。 3度挑戦したラウンド16の壁を越えることはできなかった長友。現在36歳で、次のW杯に出る時には40歳を目前にした状況となり、今回が最後のW杯になるとも見られ、一部では引退の言葉も出ている。長友は「興奮状態ではなく冷静に決断したい」と語っていた中、改めて現在の心境と、今後について想いを綴った。「ワールドカップの凄まじい緊張感から解き放たれ、普段の日常に戻ると心が空っぽになり、何というか感情が言い表せない」「心身をだいぶ削ってきたからサッカーのことは忘れ、ゆっくり休みたいと思う」「これから自分の心の中に出没する感情たちと会話しながら進む道を決めたい」「正解を選択するのではなく、自分の選択を正解にする。どんな時も自分次第だ」ファンは「まずはゆっくり休んで」、「良い言葉、ブラボー!」、「素晴らしい言葉」と労いのコメントが多く寄せられ、キャプテンの吉田麻也は「Bravo amico mio(ブラボー!友よ)」とメッセージを送った。果たしてどういう決断を下すのか。長友の決断が、正解になる。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】日本に帰国した長友佑都が将来に言及</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl5Y47iLpXh/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF;
