アル・ナスルのコロンビア代表FWジョン・デュランが早速サウジアラビアで活躍している。今シーズンはアストン・ビラでジョーカーとして台頭し、公式戦29試合12ゴールを記録していたデュラン。冬の移籍市場では移籍金7700万ユーロ(約122億9000万円)+アドオンでアル・ナスルへと移籍した。

ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドやセネガル代表FWサディオ・マネらと前線のユニットを形成することとなったなか、7日に行われた第19節のアル・フェイハ戦で先発し、サウジ・プロ・リーグデビュー。いきなり2ゴールを挙げて3-0の勝利に貢献している。
さらに、13日に行われた第20節のアル・アハリ戦でも再び2ゴール。88分に決めた自身2点目は、右サイドハーフウェーライン付近からディフェンス2人をかわしてのソロゴールとなった。

そんな21歳ストライカーを擁するアル・ナスルは、サウジ・プロ・リーグでアル・イテハド、アル・ヒラルに次ぐ3位。AFCチャンピオンズリーグエリートでも西地区リーグステージ突破を決めており、準々決勝以降は横浜F・マリノス、ヴィッセル神戸、川崎フロンターレといった日本のクラブとの対戦も実現する可能性がある。

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚
