アトレティコ・マドリーのアルゼンチン代表MFロドリゴ・デ・パウルがカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)中の負傷を振り返った。アルゼンチン『TyC Sports』が伝えた。 2022年11月から12月にかけて行われたカタールW杯で36年ぶりの優勝を果たしたアルゼンチン代表。デ・パウルはグループステージからラウンド16まで4試合全てにフル出場したが、準々決勝のオランダ代表戦の前にはトレーニング中に右ハムストリングを負傷し、状態が危ぶまれた。 あれから1年近く経った今、『Star+』のインタビューに応じたデ・パウルはこのケガを回想。検査の結果、回復まで10日〜15日を要することが判明し、このままプレーすれば80%の確率で故障するとも言われた中、代表のキャプテンを務めるFWリオネル・メッシと話し合ったことを明かしている。 「部屋に行って、『エナーノ(ちび/メッシの愛称)』としばらく話していると、エナーノが『プレーするな』と言ってきた」 「エナーノは僕にこう言った。『君を準決勝に連れて行くから、準決勝でプレーしてくれ』とね」 「彼は僕に慕われているのをわかった上でそう言ったけど、僕は『まぁでもレオ、僕が決めるよ。僕に決めさせてくれ』と言った。そしたら彼は『聞こえなかったか?』と返してきた」 「それから少しその場にとどまり、自分の部屋に戻ってからは泣いた。その日はたくさん泣いた。とてもつらかった。ニュースにも出たからみんなが心配していた。僕の母もだ」 その後もどうするか悩んだというデ・パウルだが、当時のパートナーだった人気歌手のティニ・ステッセルさんとビデオ電話をした際に「後悔しないように、自分が思うままに動きなさい」と言われ、試合に出る決心がついたという。 試合当日にはプレーできるかどうか確認するための走力テストや、メッシも含めたリオネル・スカローニ監督との話し合いを行ったようで、結局デ・パウルはオランダ戦に先発出場。66分までプレーすると、チームは延長戦とPK戦までもつれ込んだ激闘を制し、そのまま優勝へと向かっていった。 2023.12.06 18:59 Wed

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

54歳バティストゥータ氏がチャリティーマッチでゴール!4年前には左足首を人工関節に置換
