30日、FAカップ準決勝の組み合わせ抽選会が行われた。

今大会はプレミアリーグ首位のリバプールを始め前回王者マンチェスター・ユナイテッドが比較的早いタイミングで敗退する波乱が目立った。

そんななか、先週末に開催された準々決勝ではマンチェスター・シティがボーンマスとのプレミアリーグ勢対決に勝利。また、リーグ戦でも躍進が光るノッティンガム・フォレストが三笘薫の所属するブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンをPK戦の末に下した。
また、鎌田大地の所属するクリスタル・パレスはフルアムとのロンドン・ダービーを、アストン・ビラは唯一チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)勢として勝ち上がっていたプレストン・ノースエンドをいずれも3-0のスコアで撃破した。

ファイナル進出を懸けた準決勝では、リーグ戦で熾烈なチャンピオンズリーグ出場権争いを繰り広げるフォレストとシティの対戦が決定。
もう1カードはパレスとアストン・ビラの対戦に。なお、今季と2度のリーグ戦とEFLカップで通算3度対戦した両者だが、パレスが2勝1分けの無敗且つそのすべてで複数得点を挙げている。

なお、準決勝は4月26.27日にいずれもウェンブリー・スタジアムで行われる。

「爽やか〜」「かっこよすぎ」田中碧のニューヘアーが大絶賛、大先輩も「髪型グーやん」

「ハーランドがとても小さく見える」229㎝の元NBA選手とシティ選手たちの身長差に海外驚き「子供に見えてしまう」
