前節ボローニャ戦を制して3連勝スタートとしたアストン・ビラは、3日前のトッテナム戦では後半に崩れて1-4と完敗。そのトッテナム戦のスタメンから5選手を変更。ラムジーやパウ・トーレスをベンチスタートとし、ベイリーやミングスがスタメンとなった。
1勝2敗スタートのクラブ・ブルージュに対し、ポゼッションする入りとなったアストン・ビラは21分に好機。ワトキンスのミドルシュートがわずかに枠を外れた。
その後、徐々に守勢となったアストン・ビラは30分にジュグラにポスト直撃のシュートを打たれると、直後にもツォリスに枠内シュートを打たれたが、GKマルティネスが阻止。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ

コウチーニョがカタール行きに前進、この移籍を最も喜ぶのはバルセロナ?
