ユベントスは30日、アストン・ビラからブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイス(26)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2029年6月30日までの5年となる。
2019年夏に母国ブラジルのヴァスコ・ダ・ガマから完全移籍で加入したドウグラス・ルイスは、在籍5年間で公式戦204試合22ゴール24アシストを記録。中盤の絶対的な主力を担い、ウナイ・エメリ監督の下で大躍進した新生ビラの心臓として機能していた。
また、東京オリンピックでブラジルの金メダル獲得に貢献した万能型MFは、コパ・アメリカ2024にも参戦中だ。

なお、アルゼンチン人MFエンツォ・バレネチェア(23)、U-21イングランド代表MFサミュエル・イリング・ジュニア(20)の譲渡+移籍金の支払いと報じられていたが、今回の移籍は別のオペレーション扱いになるという。クラブの発表によると、ユベントスは5000万ユーロ(約86億2000万円)+150万ユーロ(約2億6000万円)のアドオンを、今後4会計年度で支払うことになる。また、東京オリンピックでブラジルの金メダル獲得に貢献した万能型MFは、コパ・アメリカ2024にも参戦中だ。

「我々の仕事を中断させた」ユベントスから解任されたモッタ氏、クラブの決断を批判「目標を達成する寸前だった」
