ドルトムントでCL決勝進出に貢献のマートセン、約76億円でアストン・ビラへ完全移籍

アストン・ビラは28日、チェルシーのオランダ代表DFイアン・マートセン(22)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』によると契約期間は2030年6月までの6年間で、移籍金は3750万ポンド(約76億3000万円)とのことだ。

左サイドバックのマートセンはフェイエノールト、スパルタ・ロッテルダム、PSVと母国クラブでユース時代を過ごすと、2018年にチェルシーの下部組織に加入。チャールトンやコヴェントリー・シティ、バーンリーへの武者修行を経て、2023年7月にファーストチームに昇格した。

2023-24シーズンはプレミアリーグで12試合に出場するなどしていたが、2024年1月にドルトムントへとレンタル移籍。ブンデスリーガで16試合2ゴール2アシストを記録すると、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でも7試合に出場し1ゴールを記録。決勝へ進んだチームを支えてきた。

ドルトムントも引き留めにかかったが、移籍金が高額で見送っていた中、来シーズン、CLに出場するため戦力の補強を進めていたアストン・ビラがマートセンの確保に成功した。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
