鹿島アントラーズは17日、6月1日に国立競技場で開催される明治安田J1リーグ第17節の横浜F・マリノス戦で、人気漫画『GIANT KILLING』とのコラボレーションが行われることを発表した。大人気サッカー漫画の『GIANT KILLING』。著者のツジトモ先生が、この試合に向けて鹿島の選手たちを書き下ろした特別イラストが実現した。
特別イラストにはFW鈴木優磨やMF佐野海舟、DF植田直通、MF柴崎岳、GK早川友基、MF樋口雄太、FWチャヴリッチ、DF安西幸輝が描かれていると見られる(一部は編集部予想)。
試合会場では、「鹿島ワンダラーズvsEAST TOKYO UNITED」を描いた『GIANT KILLING』61巻内の1話を収録した小冊子を、鹿島アントラーズ公式LINEの友だち登録をしている来場者先着10,000名様へプレゼント。この会場でしか手に入らない特別なノベルティだ。
また、オリジナルデザインの“アントラーズトラック”が都内各所を走り回る他、週刊「モーニング」に広告が掲載。さらに、ツジトモ先生書き下ろしイラストのユニフォームやTシャツ、アクリルキーホルダー、クッションなどのグッズも販売されるとのことだ。
Jリーグ開幕年から参入しているオリジナル10同士の対決。さらに、この2クラブだけがJ1以外のリーグを戦ったことがないという歴史もある戦い。大きな盛り上がりが期待される。

今季17発のFW鈴木優磨、トルコの強豪・フェネルバフチェがオファーと報道

日本代表DF植田直通に第1子誕生、離れ離れでの出産に「自慢の父親になれるよう精進します」

鈴木優磨が“金髪”にする理由を告白

ブラジル帰国中のジーコ氏、69歳の誕生日を家族と祝福「永遠に私たちの王様です」

ブラジル帰国中のジーコ氏、結婚46周年の奥さんや孫たちにメッセージ「神様に感謝しています」

「これは泣く!」「歴史に残る名実況」Jリーグ30周年を祝う鹿島vs名古屋、下田恒幸アナ恒例の“前口上”が絶賛の嵐「下田さん最高だよ!」
