30分間のプレーでも違いを見せて沸かせたリオネル・メッシ
短い時間ながらもスーパースターたる所以を見せつけたインテル・マイアミのアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシ。ヴィッセル神戸と対戦した中、そのユニフォームの行方が意外なところに行っていた。7日、プレシーズンマッチ『Inter Miami in Tokyo 2024』として、国立競技場で神戸がインテル・マイアミと対戦した。

メッシの他、ウルグアイ代表FWルイス・スアレス、元スペイン代表MFセルヒオ・ブスケッツ、スペイン代表DFジョルディ・アルバと元バルセロナの4選手を要するインテル・マイアミ。ケガの状態が懸念されたメッシはベンチスタートとなったが、残りの3選手はスタメン出場を果たした。
試合は神戸が良い形で試合を進める中で、大迫勇也が2度ポストに当てるなど決定機を活かせず。ブスケッツも負傷交代とゴールが生まれず、盛り上がりに欠ける展開となる。

すると60分にメッシが登場。途中出場し、約30分間プレーした中、ボールを持てばスタンドが沸き、神戸の守備陣を翻弄。ビッグチャンスを迎えた際には、GK新井章太、DF初瀬亮に阻まれてゴールならず。PK戦で神戸が勝利した。
多くの日本のファンをこの日も虜にしたメッシ。試合後に選手たちがピッチ状で挨拶をする中、お宝でもある自身のユニフォームをとある人物へ渡しに行ったのだ。

日本代表も経験し、ヨーロッパでもプレーした選手もいる中、そのユニフォームを手渡されたのは神戸のGKコーチ。現役時代は“クモ男”の異名を持ち、清水エスパルス、藤枝MYFCデモプレーしたシジマール氏だった。

なかなかコーチに対してユニフォームを渡すことはみられないが、メッシがシジマール氏に渡した理由は不明。ただ、渡す際にジェアン・パトリッキがシジマール氏を終えているようにも見える。また、もらったシジマール氏はとても驚いており、約束していたというものでもないのかもしれない。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

54歳バティストゥータ氏がチャリティーマッチでゴール!4年前には左足首を人工関節に置換

メッシがパリで交通事故死!? 明らかなフェイクニュースにショックを受ける人も…メディアに見せかけたSNSの投稿が多発

伝説のPK戦を覚えているか? 海外にも衝撃を与えたゼロックス杯での9人連続失敗
