ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)は10日、ドリヴァウ・ジュニオール氏(61)のブラジル代表監督就任を発表した。

ブラジルは昨年7月からフルミネンセのフェルナンド・ジニス監督にクラブとの兼任で暫定的な指揮を託したが、北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)の南米予選でよもやの6位と苦戦。ジニス監督の解任を決断した。

CBFは当初、ジニス監督を繋ぎ役としてレアル・マドリーのカルロ・アンチェロッティ監督を画策。だが、アンチェロッティ監督は先日に今季をもって満了するはずだった契約を新たに2026年夏まで延長したため、ブラジル行きの可能性が消滅し、ドリヴァウ・ジュニオール氏に白羽の矢が立った。
ドリヴァウ・ジュニオール氏はサンパウロFCの監督だったが、8日にクラブから監督退任のリリース。ドリヴァウ・ジュニオール氏からブラジルを指揮するため、辞任の申し出があったと綴られ、本人はクラブの公式Xで「これは個人的な夢の実現」などとコメントしている。

そして、ブラジルも同国の複数クラブで監督を歴任し、数々のタイトルに導いた実績を持つドリヴァウ・ジュニオール氏の招へいを正式発表。会見が11日にCBF本部で行われるようだ。

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?

3度のW杯制覇にルール変更、誰もが知る「サッカーの王様」ペレの偉業

一流と呼ばれる選手たちはこれまでのサッカー史の中で数知れず。その中において、記憶にも記録にも残り、誰もが知る超一流の選手はほんの一握りだ。 現役選手では、パリ・サンジェルマンのアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシやマンチェスター・ユナイテッドのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドがその位置にいると思われるが、誰もが知る「サッカーの王様」と呼ばれるペレは、異質な存在だった。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆3度のW杯制覇の偉業</span> 今年11月にカタールで開催されるワールドカップ(W杯)。前述のメッシ、C・ロナウドは出場すれば共に5度目のW杯となる。 ペレは記録によれば1954年に14歳でデビュー。1977年まで23年間現役でプレーした。 ブラジル代表としても16歳9カ月でデビューを果たしており、これは当時の最年少記録。ペレは1958年のスウェーデンW杯に背番号10で初めて出場。そこから4大会連続でW杯に出場した。 W杯の出場回数では4回ともちろん多いが、4回中3回優勝をしているのだから驚きだ。 現在とはレギュレーションも違った中ではあるが、初めてでたスウェーデン大会では6ゴールを奪い、ブラジルに初めてのW杯優勝をもたらせる。この活躍により、ペレの背番号「10」がエースと見なされるようになったという話があるが、「10」は偶然背負ったもの。エースは違う番号だった可能性も十分にあった。 1962年のチリ大会にも出場したペレだったが、大会序盤で負傷。しかし、チームはペレ抜きでもしっかりと勝ち上がり、連覇を達成。ブラジル代表の存在価値が高まった大会と言われた。 1966年のイングランド大会にも出場したペレだったが、ケガを抱えていたことでこの大会も途中でプレーできないことに。チームも3連覇を逃し、大きな話題となっていた。 イングランド大会を最後にW杯には出場しないと決めていたペレだったが、1970年のメキシコ大会にも出場。3度目の優勝を目指してプレーすると、決勝でもゴールとアシストで貢献し、見事に3度目の優勝を果たすこととなった。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆ルールを変えていった男</span> まだまだテレビやインターネットなどが普及せず、現代とは比べ物にならないくらい情報伝達が遅かった時代に活躍したペレ。それでも、世界中で称賛されるということがどれだけ凄かったかということだ。 今ならプレーシーンは試合中にインターネット上に出回り、一瞬にして世界に広まるが、そんなことは不可能な時代にだ。ブラジルと対戦する全ての相手がペレを警戒し、今であれば考えられないようなラフプレーで平然と止めていた。 というのも、当時はイエローカードやレッドカードというルールはなく、試合中にケガをしても交代できないという、現代では考えられないルールだった。 しかし、このラフプレーでペレにケガが絶えなかったこと、さらにはW杯でのプレーを拒否するような事があり、ラフプレー対策としてイエローカードとレッドカードが導入されることとなったのだ。 また選手交代ができない時代にケガを押してプレーしていたことも多く、試合中の選手交代もペレによって生まれたルールといって良い。現代サッカーの根本となるルールを生み出すあたり、レベルの違う偉人と言えるだろう。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆偉大なるゴール記録も</span> そのペレはキャリアを通じて1375試合に出場し1284ゴールを記録したとされている。オフィシャルの記録では世界で最もゴールを決めているとされている偉大なスコアラーだ。 ただ、このゴールには親善試合も含まれており、クラブや代表チームでの公式戦でのゴールは831試合で767ゴール。十分凄い記録であるが、これはC・ロナウドが2021年3月14日に更新していた。 記録こそ抜かれたが、C・ロナウドも「プロキャリアで770ゴールに到達した。最初の言葉はペレに捧げたい」とコメントするなど、偉大さが失われるわけではない。 時代も進化し、テクノロジーやトレーニング法など、様々な面が大きく変化している中でも、永遠に語り継がれるであろうペレ。「サッカーの王様」は彼しか存在し得ないと言って良いだろう。 <div id="cws_ad"><hr>ブラジル代表で活躍し、「サッカーの王様」として知られているペレが大人気スポーツ育成シミュレーションゲーム『プロサッカークラブをつくろう!ロード・トゥ・ワールド』(サカつくRTW)に登場!<br/><br/>現役時代に魅せた卓越したプレーが『サカつくRTW』でも再現。是非一度チェックしてみよう。<a href="https://ryan.onelink.me/C7cD/79aae7be" target="_blank"><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/900/img/2022/sega20220413.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"></div></a></div> <span class="paragraph-title">【動画】見たことある!?「サッカーの王様」ペレのスーパーゴール!</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <div class="dugout-video dugout-embed-eyJrZXkiOiJmT2lSczhmNCIsInAiOiJ1bHRyYXNvY2NlciIsInBsIjoiIn0="></div><script type="text/javascript" src="https://embed.dugout.com/v3.1/ultrasoccer.js"></script> <div id="cws_ad"><hr>ブラジル代表で活躍し、「サッカーの王様」として知られているペレが大人気スポーツ育成シミュレーションゲーム『プロサッカークラブをつくろう!ロード・トゥ・ワールド』(サカつくRTW)に登場!<br/><br/>現役時代に魅せた卓越したプレーが『サカつくRTW』でも再現。是非一度チェックしてみよう。<a href="https://ryan.onelink.me/C7cD/79aae7be" target="_blank"><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/900/img/2022/sega20220413.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"></div></a></div> 2022.04.15 10:00 Fri
