W杯優勝から1年…全試合にフル出場したオタメンディとトロフィーの独特2ショットにチームメイトたちも困惑?「気が狂ったのか?」

ベンフィカに所属するアルゼンチン代表DFニコラス・オタメンディが独特な方法でカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)優勝を振り返った。

マンチェスター・シティ時代には不安定なパフォーマンスが批判されることも少なくなかったオタメンディだが、2020年に加入したベンフィカでは守備の要としてプレーしている。

アルゼンチン代表でも絶対的な地位を確立しており、カタールW杯では全試合にフル出場。36年ぶりのW杯優勝に大きく貢献していた。

そのカタールW杯決勝から1年が経過した中、アルゼンチンの選手たちは各々のSNSなどで当時を回想。トロフィーとの写真を投稿するなどしていた。

その中でも、オタメンディはやや特殊な方法でW杯優勝を回想。W杯トロフィーとの2ショットを投稿しているのだが、オタメンディはなぜか目出し帽を被ってトロフィー右手をかぶせており、まるでトロフィーを盗み出したかのような構図になっている。

オタメンディの謎ショットには代表のチームメイトたちも困惑気味。パウロ・ディバラ(ローマ)が「正気を失ったのか?」とコメントすると、アンヘル・ディ・マリア(ベンフィカ)も「キャプテンを愛してやまないよ(笑)」とコメントしている。

カタールW杯では、影のMVPとも呼べる活躍を見せていたオタメンディだが、そのセンスは独特なようだ。

パリ五輪でルールが変更、ケガや病気に限り大会中でもバックアップメンバーと入れ替え可能に…男子は帯同しない計画も

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は、パリ・オリンピックに関して、選手の入れ替えルールを変更することを発表した。日本は男女共に出場果たしたパリ・オリンピック。男女全てのチームの代表メンバーが出揃うこととなった。 U-23日本代表はオーバーエイジを使用しなかったが、開催国のフランスはFWアレクサンドル・ラカゼット、モロッコはDFアクラフ・ハキミ、アルゼンチンはDFニコラス・オタメンディ、FWフリアン・アルバレスなど、実力者をチームに加えている。ワールドカップ(W杯)などでは、23名のメンバーが招集可能となっている現行ルールだが、オリンピックは18名と極端に少ない構成に。中2日で試合も行われ、大きな負担がかかることが懸念されていた。そんな中、大会開幕を約2週間後に控えた中、FIFAが国際オリンピック委員会(IOC)がルールの変更を決めたことを発表した。登録選手は18名で変更はないものの、各国は4名のバックアップメンバーを登録している。この4名に関しては、各国の初戦の24時間前までにケガや病気などの理由であれば入れ替えられるというルールが設定されていた。しかし、今回の変更により、大会期間中でも、医療上の理由に限り、選手を入れ替えることが可能に。本登録メンバーとバックアップメンバーを入れ替えることができることとなった。また、一度離れた選手も、回復してプレーが可能となった場合には復帰もできるとのこと。各試合に18名までしか登録できないことは変わらないが、ケガなどで選手が減っていくということは無くなることとなった。なお、バックアップの4名に関しては19番から22番の背番号が割り当てられることに。男女ともに日本は4名のバックアップメンバーを発表していたが、男子はバックアップの4名に関して帯同する予定はないと発表されていた。 2024.07.13 09:40 Sat

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

日本代表が初めて感じた世界の壁、ストライカーが認める“9番”ガブリエル・バティストゥータ
