フランス代表、そしてレアル・マドリーにとって大きな痛手となることになりそうだ。ユーロ2024予選に臨むフランス代表に招集されていたMFエドゥアルド・カマヴィンガがトレーニング中に負傷してしまったという。

スペイン『アス』によれば、カマヴィンガは右ヒザを負傷したとのこと。15日のトレーニングでウスマーヌ・デンベレと接触。ヒザ同士がぶつかった中、カマヴィンガはピッチに倒れたまま起き上がれず、そのまま練習を後にしたという。
現時点でフランスサッカー連盟(FFF)からは正式な発表がないものの、『アス』によれば最初の検査では深刻な状態になる可能性が見つからなかったとのこと。重傷である可能性があったが、それを回避したように思われたが、2度目の検査でフランス代表を離脱することが決まったという。

カマヴィンガはマドリードに戻り、改めてどの程度の負傷なのかの検査を受けるとされており、これにより18日のジブラルタル代表戦、21日のギリシャ代表戦は欠場することになる。
外側じん帯の損傷の可能性もあるとされており、その場合は最低でも6週間は離脱することになるという。

セネガル出身のエヴラ氏、フランス代表入りを後悔「過去に戻れるならセネガルを選ぶ」

かつて世界最高の左サイドバックの1人と言われたパトリス・エヴラ氏が、フランス代表を選択した過去を後悔していると口にした。ナイジェリア『Sports Brief』が伝えている。 セネガルの首都ダカールで生を受けるも、育ちはフランスというエヴラ氏。現役時代はマンチェスター・ユナイテッドで長く活躍し、5度のプレミアリーグ優勝のほか、2007-08シーズンには主軸としてチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)制覇に貢献している。 フランス代表としては通算81キャップ。だが、主将として臨んだ2010年の南アフリカ・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、チームの内紛が練習ボイコットにまで発展し、自身も大会終了前にチームから追放されるなど、クラブキャリアの成功に比べると、苦い思い出が多い。 そんなエヴラ氏は先日、西アフリカでの自身のサッカー事業の一環として訪れたガーナで、同国のナナ・アクフォ=アド大統領と会談。その中で、母国セネガルではなくフランス代表を選んだことを後悔していると語ったという。 「過去に戻れるならフランスではなく、生まれ故郷のセネガルを代表する道を選ぶでしょう。私はダカールで生まれましたが、フランスで育ちました」 「この選択で私が学んだ苦痛な教訓は、良いプレーをして勝利した時はフランス人として称賛され、チームが負けようものならセネガル人として扱われることです」 「私はアフリカの今の若い世代に、君たちが自分の生まれた国でのプレーを選んでも、成功への扉は開いている。ということを伝えていかなくてはなりません」 前述のW杯での一件もあってか、現在もなお、フランス代表に対して良く思っていないことをうかがわせた格好だ。 2022.09.17 17:12 Sat

大会公式は谷川萌々子を注目選手に!U-19日本女子がフランスでのSUD Ladies Cupに臨む
