日本代表は13日、デンカビッグスワンスタジアムで行われたMIZUHO BLUE DREAM MATCH 2023のカナダ代表戦に臨み、4-1で快勝した。
目下4連勝中と好調を維持するサムライブルーは、開始早々に田中碧のゴールで先制に成功すると、以降はGK大迫敬介のPKストップなどでリードを維持。前半終盤にかけては相手のオウンゴールと、中村敬斗のゴールで畳みかけ、3点リードで試合を折り返す。
後半も立ち上がりに再び田中にこの試合2点目が決まり、試合の大勢を決めた。その後、後半終盤にデイヴィッド・ホイレットに一矢報いるゴールを許してクリーンシートを逃したが、2026年ワールドカップ開催国相手に快勝を収めた。
代表2キャップ目で初のフル出場となった毎熊は、この試合でバイエルンで活躍する世界屈指のサイドアタッカーであるアルフォンソ・デイビスと対峙。後半途中からは守備面で良い対応も見せたが、試合を通して多くの課題を実感した。
「ハーフタイムで代えられてもおかしくない内容だったと思いますし、それでも後半も使っていただいたので、自分の中で切り替えてやっていきました。後半は守備で少しずつ感覚を掴んで抑えられる場面もありましたが、1試合を振り返ってみるとすごく課題は多かったと思います。攻撃の部分でもなかなか自分の良さを出せなかったので、課題の方が多かったです」
持ち味である攻撃面に関しては相手陣内でのプレーに一定の手応えを感じたが、ビルドアップを含め守備同様に課題を口にしている。
「立ち上がりの南野選手へのパスや伊東純也選手へのパスは、もう一つ相手の陣地に入ってのパスは何本か出せました。ただ、自陣からのビルドアップの部分は課題だらけだったと思います」
なお日本代表は、17日にノエビアスタジアム神戸でチュニジア代表戦に臨む。

「一瞬息が止まった」「イケメンすぎ」谷口彰悟のモデル姿が話題に! プーマのゴルフ部門でアンバサダーに「そろそろ絶命してしまう」

「ずっと仲良しでいいですね」「最高すぎる」堂安律もダブルピース! ハワイを共に楽しんだ相手は10年来の仲間「素敵です」
