元イングランド代表MFデイビッド・ベッカム氏のドキュメンタリーシリーズが「Netflix」で配信されることとなった。現役時代、芸術的な精度を誇る右足のキックや、その甘いマスクからは想像もつかないハードなプレーを武器に、主にマンチェスター・ユナイテッドやレアル・マドリーで活躍したベッカム氏。2002年の日韓・ワールドカップ(W杯)でも来日し、日本での人気も非常に高い。
現在はアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシが加入したインテル・マイアミの共同オーナーを務めている中、ベッカム氏がサッカー界のスター選手になるまでの軌跡を振り返るドキュメンタリーシリーズ『ベッカム』が10月4日から配信開始となる。
ベッカム氏は2020年にNetflixと契約。2022年にドキュメンタリー番組の構想が明かされていた中ついに配信開始までたどり着いたようだ。

世界一にもなれた稀代の創造主、ファン・セバスティアン・ベロン

ベッカム氏の次男ロメオが2度目の現役引退…今度は母ヴィクトリアさんと同じ道へ

2024プスカシュ賞はガルナチョのオーバーヘッド弾に決定

逮捕・有罪判決・控訴から3年半…ギリシャでの“マグワイア事件”がうやむや消滅へ?
