女子W杯初の決勝進出、イングランド女子代表のユニフォーム人気が急上昇! 最も検索されたのは…

イングランド女子代表ユニフォームの人気が高まっているようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えた。オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)で躍進を見せ、初の決勝進出を果たした欧州女王のイングランド女子代表。過去2大会は準決勝の壁に阻まれていたが、開催国オーストラリア女子代表を下し、20日のスペイン女子代表との決勝戦に臨む。

ライオネセスの愛称で親しまれるイングランド女子だが、大一番を前に、国内では再び女子欧州選手権(ユーロ)2022優勝時のような盛り上がりを見せているようだ。
イギリスのオンラインファッションストア『boohoo』がまとめたGoogleの検索データ分析によると、「ライオネセス キット」で検索された数が爆発的に伸びている。

過去90日間での検索数はこれまでの平均をおよそ3.981%上回っており、倍率にして40倍以上の増加。同様に「ライオネセス シャツ」、「イングランド シャツ」の検索数もそれぞれ3.617%、2.220%増加しているとのことだ。
『boohoo』の広報担当者は「ライオネセスはすでに歴史的成功を収めていると断言できますが、キットの検索結果からもその影響を感じることができます。これを受け、ファッションの観点からもスポーツウエアへの関心はすでに最高潮に達していると言えるでしょう」と、ファッションへの影響も大きいと語る。

各ブランドや各国ともに趣向を凝らし、デザイン性に富んだウエアは増えているものの、やはり結果という広告の影響は計り知れないようだ。

なお、個人別の検索数ではオーストラリア戦で勝ち越しゴールを挙げた長谷川唯の同僚FWローレン・ヘンプ(マンチェスター・シティ)がトップ。次いで、これまで主将を務めながらも今大会はヒザの大ケガで未招集のDFリア・ウィリアムソン(アーセナル)、2022年のザ・ベストFIFA女子GKにも選出されたメアリー・アープス(マンチェスター・ユナイテッド)が続いている。

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!

FIFA公式がロシアW杯ベストイレブンを発表! ヤングやパウリーニョら“クセがすごい”選出も…

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」
