ローマは16日、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)のポルトガル代表MFレナト・サンチェス(25)をレンタル移籍で獲得したことを発表した。
一定の条件下での買い取り義務が発生する契約とのことだ。背番号は「20」をつける。
レナト・サンチェスはベンフィカの下部組織育ちで、2015年10月にファーストチームに昇格。若き才能に目をつけたバイエルンが2016年7月に完全移籍で獲得するが輝けず、2017年8月にスウォンジー・シティへとレンタル移籍する。
2018年6月にバイエルンへと復帰すると、通算53試合に出場し2ゴール3アシストを記録。2019年8月にリールへと完全移籍した。
リールでは3シーズンを過ごし公式戦91試合で7ゴール10アシストを記録。フランスでの活躍を見てPSGが2022年8月に完全移籍で獲得したが、27試合で2ゴールの活躍に終わった。

パリに慣れないメッシ、同僚ディ・マリアが明かす「彼は死にたいと思っているだろう」
