横浜FMのDF岩田智輝がセルティックに完全移籍、昨季途中から期限付き移籍「自分らしく頑張っていきたい」

横浜F・マリノスは13日、DF岩田智輝(26)がセルティックに完全移籍することを発表した。

岩田は2022シーズンのJリーグで横浜FMを支えてリーグ優勝に貢献すると、最優秀選手を受賞。その後、2022年12月に期限付き移籍でセルティックへと加入した。

半年間の在籍となったなか、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップで13試合に出場。スコティッシュ・カップで4試合、スコティッシュ・リーグカップで1試合に出場していた。

6月9日までの期限付き移籍だったが、その後の去就は触れられず。しかし、そのまま完全移籍となった。

岩田はクラブを通じてコメントしている。

「このたび、セルティックFCに完全移籍する事になりました。自分の夢を叶えてくれた大分トリニータ、横浜F・マリノスには感謝しかありません」

「昨シーズン優勝できたのは僕のサッカー人生で忘れる事のない景色です。毎日の練習が楽しく、毎週の試合ではマリノスファミリーで勝利を分かち合えた事、このF・マリノスで過ごした2年間はものすごく充実した時間でした」

「F・マリノスに移籍して良かったと思っていますし、セルティックFCに移籍したことも良かったと思えるように自分らしく頑張っていきたいと思います」

セルティックはジャパンツアーを実施し、7月19日に横浜FMと対戦。岩田や前田大然にとって古巣との凱旋試合となる。

前田大然がまたもモデルに起用!セルティックとアディダスがスタイリッシュに応援できる「Lifestyler」シリーズを発表、流行のオーバーサイズシルエットに

「めっちゃチャラい」茶髪にイヤリング…田中隼磨が20年前の“チャラい”お宝写真公開、先輩からはツッコミ「触れただけでキレそうだな」
