監督退任のスペイン代表、東京五輪で日本を下したデ・ラ・フエンテ氏が新監督に就任
スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)は8日、スペイン代表の指揮官にU-21スペイン代表のルイス・デ・ラ・フエンテ監督(61)の就任を発表した。12日に正式就任となる。 カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場していたスペインは、日本代表と同じグループEに入り、ドイツ代表、コスタリカ代表と同居した。 グループステージでは初戦のコスタリカ代表戦で7ゴールを奪う大勝スタート。2戦目のドイツ戦は1-1のドローに終わると、第3戦の日本戦ではまさかの1-2と逆転負け。それでも2位でグループステージを突破した。 そのスペインだったが、ラウンド16ではモロッコ代表を相手にゴールを奪えず、0-0で120分間を終了。すると、PK戦では3人連続で失敗し、2人はGKボノにセーブされ、敗退となった。 8日にはルイス・エンリケ監督の退任を発表していたRFEFだが、すぐに後任を発表。長らくU-21スペイン代表を率いてきたデ・ラ・フエンテ氏を抜擢した。 現役時代にはアスレティック・ビルバオ、セビージャ、アラベスでプレー。引退後はビルバオ・アスレティック(Bチーム)で監督キャリアをスタート。その後、アラベスでも監督を務めると、2013年にU-19スペイン代表の監督に就任。U-18スペイン代表も含め、2018年まで指揮すると、2018年からはU-21スペイン代表を務めた。 2015年にはU-19スペイン代表を率いてU-19欧州選手権を制すると、2019年にはU-21スペイン代表を率いてU-21欧州選手権で優勝。2021年夏には東京オリンピックにも出場したチームを率い、日本代表とも準決勝で対戦。延長戦の末に勝利したが、決勝ではブラジル代表に2-1で敗れ、銀メダルに終わっていた。 現在のスペイン代表は東京五輪世代が多く招集されており、ほとんどの選手がデ・ラ・フエンテ監督の下でプレーしたことがある状況だ。 なお、デビュー戦は2023年3月に行われるユーロ2024予選のノルウェー代表戦、スコットランド戦になるという。 2022.12.08 21:48 Thu

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

女子W杯2023、視聴者数が世界各国で記録的な数字に! イングランドやスペインはもちろん中国でも
女子サッカーへの関心を裏付ける数字となっているようだ。 スペイン女子代表の初優勝で幕を閉じたオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)。両開催国ともに入場者数が過去最高を記録するなど、大盛況のうちに終わった。 中継の数字にも関心の高さは見て取れ、オーストラリアでは準決勝のイングランド女子代表戦をピーク時に過去最高となる1115万人が視聴したと伝えられていた。 また、『ロイター』は各国の視聴者数に関するデータをまとめており、イギリスでは『BBC One』のピーク視聴者数が1200万人に。『iTV』でも放送された決勝戦は、合計最高視聴者数が1440万人に達したと、集計会社バーブが報告している。 なお、イングランドが初優勝した母国での女子欧州選手権(ユーロ)2022では1740万人、7月に行われたテニスの男子ウィンブルドン決勝では1130万人だったと比較。関心の高さがうかがえる。 スペインでは560万人が決勝戦を視聴し、最高視聴者数は740万人に。これはスペインにおける女子サッカーの試合のテレビ視聴者数としては史上最高記録とのこと。『バルロベント・コミュニケーション』が発表したデータによると、スペインのテレビ視聴者の56.2%が男性だったという。 中国ではグループステージのイングランド戦を5390万人が視聴。1試合の最高視聴者数を記録した。 世界での総視聴者数は明記されていないものの、FIFA女子サッカー最高責任者のサライ・ブレナン氏によれば、開幕前には前回大会の11億2000万人を上回る20億人以上と見込まれていた。 各国の施策による女子チームへの強化体制が実を結び、ゲームの強度や戦術の向上、さらには有望な若手、スペイン女子代表FWサルマ・パラジュエロやコロンビア女子代表MFリンダ・カイセドらが多数台頭した今大会。W杯後には初のUEFA女子ネーションズリーグがスタートし、来年にはパリ・オリンピック、さらに翌年には女子ユーロが控えており、まだまだ世界の女子サッカー熱は冷めそうにない。 2023.08.23 21:27 Wed
