リヨンのMFフセム・アワール(24)が、フランス代表からアルジェリア代表への代表変更を決断した。

アワールがアルジェリア代表でのプレーを表明

リヨン生まれでアルジェリアとの二重国籍を持つアワールは、U-17、U-21のカテゴリーで生まれ故郷のフランス代表を選択。その後、2020年7月に行われた国際親善試合のウクライナ代表戦で、フランスのA代表として1試合プレー。しかし、その後はディディエ・デシャン監督の信頼を得ることができず、招集から遠ざかっていた。

これを受けて、アルジェリアサッカー連盟(FAF)は代表変更が可能なアワールに対して、先日からコンタクトを取り説得を試みていた中、同選手はその申し出を受け入れることになった。

アワールは、17日に今月のインターナショナルマッチウィークに向けたアルジェリア代表メンバー発表が控える中、自身のインスタグラムに「アルジェリア万歳」のコメントと共に同国代表のユニフォームに身を包んだ自身のコラージュ画像を投稿。今後、アルジェリアのためにプレーする意向を示した。

長らくリヨンで主力を担い、今夏の移籍が有力視される24歳だが、その夏を前に代表変更という重要な決断を下すことになった。

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。 「W杯を感じない」「いまいち」フランス代表のW杯ユニフォームがシンプルすぎて不評、PRに起用したラッパーには不快感「理解できない」

マテラッツィ、ジダンとの“頭突き事件”を引き起こした侮辱発言の真相を明かす
