シティが2027年まで契約のフリアン・アルバレスに大幅な昇給と1年間の契約延長をオファー

アルゼンチン代表FWフリアン・アルバレス(23)がマンチェスター・シティとの契約延長に近づいているという。アルゼンチン『TyC Sports』が伝えた。

2022年1月にリーベル・プレートからシティへと完全移籍したアルバレス。そのままレンタルでリーベル・プレートに残ると、2022年7月に復帰して合流した。

今シーズンからプレミアリーグに挑戦したアルバレスは、ここまで19試合で5ゴール。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でも6試合で2ゴール2アシストを記録しているが、満足行く出場機会を得ているとは言えない。

一方で、アルゼンチン代表としてカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場し、献身的な守備の姿勢を見せながらも4ゴール1アシストと活躍。ただ、シティでの立場は大きくは変化しなかった。

シティとの契約は2027年6月まで結ばれている中、アルバレスとの契約延長に動いているとのこと。アルバレスに出していたオファー内容を改善し、大幅なサラリーアップと1年間の契約延長をオファーしているという。

報道によれば、来週中にもクラブと交渉が行われ、合意に達すると見られている。

文句なく圧倒的な数字を残しているノルウェー代表FWアーリング・ハーランドがいるだけに、出場機会は限られてしまっているが、シティとしては手放したくないという気持ちを早々に示すようだ。

「三つ子なのか?」「似すぎでしょ」シティFWアルバレスの活躍を家族も見守るも、そっくりすぎる3兄弟が話題に「どれが本人?」

「最強のスタジアムになる」シティのスタジアム改修計画が承認!総工費500億円で壮大なエンターテインメント施設へ「めっちゃ豪華」
