かつて日本代表を率いたアルベルト・ザッケローニ氏が、フランス代表MFアドリアン・ラビオを高く評価している。

カタール・ワールドカップではここまで全5試合に出場しているラビオ。そのうち、グループステージ突破が決まっていたチュニジア戦を除けばフル出場しており、レ・ブルーの主力として優勝へ邁進中だ。

ただ、所属先のユベントスでは、今季は公式戦16試合で5ゴール2アシストを記録しているにもかかわらず、あまり評価は伴っていない模様。ザッケローニ氏はイタリア『Radio 24』で不満を漏らし、フランス代表の元スカッドにおいて、キリアン・ムバッペに次ぐ重要な選手であると断言した。
「なぜイタリアではラビオに対する愛情が薄いのか理解できない」

「彼はワールドカップで信じられいないようなパフォーマンスを見せている。高野ユベントスMFは今大会のフランスにとって、ムバッペの次に重要な選手だ」
なお、イタリアメディアによれば、ユベントスはラビオの放出を検討しており、買い手としてはニューカッスルやチェルシーが挙げられている。

監督業引退のザッケローニ氏、古巣ユベントスのサッリ前監督とピルロ新監督を語る

元日本代表監督のアルベルト・ザッケローニ氏が『TUTTO mercato WEB』のインタビューで古巣ユベントスについて答えている。 2010年から4年間、日本代表を率いてアジアカップ優勝やブラジル・ワールドカップ出場に導いたザッケローニ氏。その後は北京国安やUAEの監督を務め、今年7月に監督業からの引退を宣言した。 インタビューでは日本代表監督就任直前に率いていたユベントスの話題に。トリノの監督を最後に3年のブランクを経て、2009-10シーズンの途中に就任。4カ月という短期契約を全うした。 現在はセリエA9連覇という圧倒的強さでイタリア王者に君臨するユベントスだが、昨シーズンはマウリツィオ・サッリ監督の下で予想以上の苦戦を強いられた。ザッケローニ氏は同胞の指揮官が苦難があったことに理解しつつ、適切なタイミングではなかったとの見解をを示した。 「監督というのは適切なタイミングで適切なクラブに来る必要がある。彼は指揮官云々ではなく、ただ勝利が当たり前のチームに行った。私は、サッリが最善の選択ではなかったように思う。彼はベストなサポートを受けられなかった。だから妥協するしかなかったのだ。監督が妥協すれば、クリスティアーノ・ロナウドのような選手に頼るしかなくなってしまう」 また、新シーズンから新たにユベントスを指揮することになったアンドレア・ピルロ新監督にも言及。クラブ哲学を基に、ヨーロッパを制覇するための人選であると推測した。 「彼らは他のチームよりも優れており、世論の尊敬を勝ち取りたいと願っている。特にヨーロッパの舞台でさらなる高みを目指すことは最重要課題となっている。そのために監督を変えた」 「我々には重要な哲学がある。それが外国人指揮官を呼ばない理由だ。そして今回はクラブOBに白羽の矢が立った。ユベントスは選手と意見を交換し、それに基づく意思決定をしているのだ」 また、イタリアでの監督復帰の可能性を問われた同氏は、「イタリアでのキャリアは終わったと思っている。アジアで10年もやっているうちに、イタリア人が持っているような熱意を失ってしまったんだ」と答えている。 2020.09.17 17:14 Thu

殿堂掲額者にザッケローニ氏選出も投票による掲額者は今年も該当/六川亨の日本サッカーの歩み

第20回を迎えた日本サッカー殿堂の掲額式典が9月29日にJFAサッカー文化創造拠点のblue-ing! で開催された。今年の掲額者はセリエAのユベントスやACミラン、インテル・ミラノなどの監督を歴任し、2010年に日本代表の監督に就任したアルベルト・ザッケローニ氏が「特別選考」で殿堂入りを果たした。 ザッケローニ氏は監督就任早々の10年10月8日には初めてアルゼンチンを倒すなど順風満帆のスタートを切った。そして年が明けた11年は苦しみながらもアジアカップカタール2011で優勝を遂げた。13年6月のコンフェデ杯はブラジル、イタリア、メキシコに3連敗を喫したものの、7月に韓国で開催された東アジアカップでは敵地で韓国を2-1で破って初優勝を果たした。 しかし期待された14年のブラジルW杯では初戦でコートジボワールに1-2で敗れると、続くギリシャ戦は0-0で引分けたが最終戦のコロンビアには1-4と大敗し、グループリーグでの敗退を余儀なくされた。 当時を振り返り、やはりやり直したいのは「コートジボワール戦」というのは偽らざる本音だろう。グループリーグ敗退の原因を、「チーム全員が優勝するという同じ熱量を持っていなかった」と振り返ったが、当時としてはそれも仕方のないことだったと思う。 第20回を迎え、殿堂掲額者は投票と特別選考での選出を合わせて92人と3チームになった(1936年ベルリン五輪と1968年メキシコ五輪銅メダルの日本代表と、2011年ドイツW杯優勝のなでしこジャパン)。代表監督はプロ契約がスタートした92年のハンス・オフト氏以来、短命で終わったロベルト・ファルカン氏とハビエル・アギーレ氏、JFAと仲違いしたヴァイッド・ハリルホジッチ氏以外の8人が選出されている。 その一方で寂しかったのが、「日本サッカーに永年にわたって顕著な貢献をした選手」、「満60歳以上の者(物故者は含まれない)」という二つの資格要件に従い殿堂・表彰委員会にてリストアップし、サッカーの取材経験が豊富なメディア関係者や歴代殿堂掲額者、JFA理事らによる投票で選出されるOBが、今年も得票率を満たすことができずに選出が見送られたことだ。 20年に選出された木村和司以来、4年連続しての“該当者なし”であり、その間に金田喜稔氏は資格を失った。今年度の候補者は原博実氏(第16回から継続)、森下申一氏、松永成立氏、都並敏史氏、柱谷幸一氏、柱谷哲二氏(いずれも第18回から継続)だったが、各氏とも掲額に値すると思うものの、基準を満たすことはできなかった。メディア関係者には3票の投票権が与えられているが、票が割れてしまったのだろうか。 受賞資格としては「日本代表50試合以上の出場」か「JSL1部およびJ1リーグ通算210試合以上出場」という規定がある。しかしながら代表戦とJ1リーグの試合数がJSL時代とは比較にならないほど増えているだけに、今後は候補者の増加が予想される。 このため殿堂掲額者の投票による選考方法も再考する時期に来ているのではないか。そんな思いを強くした、第20回を迎えた殿堂掲額式典でもあった。 2024.09.30 22:30 Mon

マテラッツィ、ジダンとの“頭突き事件”を引き起こした侮辱発言の真相を明かす

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!
