ドイツ代表のハンジ・フリック監督がカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のグループステージ敗退を振り返った。
2014年の王者であるドイツ代表。スペイン代表とも同居するグループEで突破候補の一角と目されたが、逆転負けした初戦の日本代表戦で狂わされ、1分け1敗の最下位でコスタリカ代表を相手にした1日の最終戦を迎えた。
そのコスタリカ代表戦を4-2で勝利してみせたが、同時刻キックオフの他会場で日本代表がスペイン代表を逆転で破り、首位通過。あと1枠を巡る争いとなり、勝ち点4で並ぶスペイン代表に得失点差で及ばず、3位で敗退した。
ドイツ代表はこれで2大会連続のグループステージ敗退の憂き目に。ドイツ『DER SPIEGEL』ではフリック監督の試合後コメントが取り上げられ、大会を通じた出来の悪さを強調した上で、そのショックさを吐露した。
「言葉がないわけではない。ゲームをかなり解釈できる。前半が終わって、本当に苛立ちがあった。いかに相手を強くしたか。3、4ゴールを決めるチャンスがいくらでもあった。油断して相手を強くさせてしまったんだ」

「再び9番が現れるには…」 ケディラがドイツサッカーの現状を憂う 「A代表は若手をテストする場じゃない」
元ドイツ代表MFサミ・ケディラ氏がドイツサッカー界の現状を憂いている。 現役時代にレアル・マドリーやユベントスなどで活躍し、2014年にはドイツ代表として臨んだブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)で優勝メンバーとなったケディラ氏。輝かしい時代のドイツを彩った大型ボランチは昨年9月に古巣シュツットガルトのアドバイザーに就任するも、今年6月に退任している。 ここ最近はドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)が新たなスポーツ・ディレクター(SD)としてケディラ氏の招へいを画策しているとの報道が。ケディラ氏はドイツ『キッカー』のインタビューに応じ、話し合いをしていることは認めつつ、「何も合意はないし、候補者は私だけではないよ」と謙遜した。 一方で、ドイツサッカー界の現状について危機感を抱いていると口に。ドイツ代表は男子が昨年のカタールW杯、女子が現在開催中のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯でグループステージ敗退の憂き目に遭っているが、ケディラ氏は育成年代に異変が起きたと考えているようだ。 「ドイツサッカー界の危機は、主に青少年期の活動における長年の失策の結果だと思う。指導者から適切なトレーニングを受け、課題解決の優先順位を間違わなければ、最終的に大きな成果を得られるはずだ。最近のドイツ人選手は全員が均質で、同じタイプの選手しか出てきていないように思える」 また、ドイツにとって積年の課題であるストライカー不足にも言及。ミロスラフ・クローゼ氏の引退以降、ドイツ代表にはトップクラスの点取り屋がおらず、ケディラ氏も「再び9番が現れるには数年かかるだろう」と語っている。 ドイツ代表を率いるハンジ・フリック監督に対しては優れた選手ならベテランであっても招集すべきと訴え、A代表は実力でのし上がっていく舞台だと語気を強めた。 「4～5年前、ドイツは若手に代表チームの経験を与えるという理念を掲げた。その結果は皆が知るところだが、それによってマッツ・フンメルス、トーマス・ミュラー、ジェローム・ボアテングといった選手たちが離れて行った」 「若手が成長するためのスペースを作ったと言えば聞こえが良いが、私は致命的な兆候を感じていた。A代表はドイツの旗艦であり、最も優れた選手が呼ばれるべき舞台だ。若手をテストするのはA代表ではなくU-21だ」 「これから親善試合で日本、フランス、アメリカ、メキシコと戦うね。幅広い個性と優れた人格を備えたチームを見つけることが重要となる。これらの試合を通じて光が差せば、再びドイツサッカー界に高揚感を取り戻せると確信しているよ。だが、繰り返すが、最も優れた選手が呼ばれないようなら、もはや絶望的だ」 2023.08.07 15:11 Mon

広島が来季の新監督にドイツ人指揮官のスキッべ氏を招へい、ドルトムントやフランクフルト、ギリシャ代表なども指揮

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに
