ポルトガルがウルグアイ下し決勝T進出! 2得点B・フェルナンデス「3連勝したい」

ポルトガル代表MFブルーノ・フェルナンデスらがカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)グループH第2節のウルグアイ代表戦を振り返った。スペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』が伝えている。

ポルトガル代表は28日にウルグアイ代表と対戦。0-0で折り返すも、54分にB・フェルナンデスのクロスが直接ネットを揺らして先制点が決まると、試合終了間際にも同選手が追加点となるPKを沈めて2-0で勝利した。

この結果、初戦のガーナ代表戦に続いて2連勝とし、勝ち点は「6」に。最終節を残して2位以上が確定し、決勝トーナメント進出が決まった試合後のインタビューでは、2試合続けてスタメン出場でチームをけん引したMFベルナルド・シウバが90分間を振り返った。

「簡単な試合ではなかった。とてもアグレッシブかつ競争力のあるチームと対戦し、うまくプランを実行したよ。前線からプレスをかけられ、ウルグアイの方がラインを上げた時間帯もあったが、彼らにとっても容易ではなかっただろう」

また、ポルトガル代表は決勝トーナメント一回戦でグループG上位2チームのいずれかとの対戦になるが、グループGですでに突破を決めているブラジル代表は避けたいと口にしている。

「もしブラジルなら素晴らしい対戦相手になるが、僕たちも優勝候補の一角であり、避けられればより良い」

一方、殊勲の2ゴールを記録したB・フェルナンデスは自身のゴールへの喜びはほどほどに、最終節の韓国代表戦もきっちり勝利を目指すと力強く宣言した。

「誰がゴールを決めたかは、さほど興味がない。(1点目は)クリスティアーノ(・ロナウド)へのクロスのつもりだった。彼がボールに触れたように見えていたよ。重要なのは勝利したことだけ。次の試合で戦うタフな相手について考えなくてはならない」

「次の試合で勝てば3連勝だ。1試合ずつ歩みを進め、グループステージのすべての試合で勝ちたいと考えているよ」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

リバプールFWに隠された秘密…ジオゴ・ジョタは実は本名じゃなかった、その理由とは?
