W杯GS突破を目指すイングランド代表にルーニー提案「ケインはウェールズ戦で外すべき」

元イングランド代表のウェイン・ルーニー氏が、ウェールズ戦で主力を温存すべきとの見解を示している。

初戦でイラン代表に6-2の大勝を収めたイングランドだったが、25日に行われたアメリカ代表戦は再三の決定機を迎えながらも0-0のドローとなり、グループ突破は最終節のウェールズ代表戦に持ち越されることになった。

ただ、イングランド代表歴代トップの53ゴールを記録しているルーニー氏は、その重要な一戦でエースのハリー・ケインを先発から外すべきと主張。決勝トーナメントを見越して休ませておくべきだと、イギリス『タイムズ』のコラムで提案した。

「ウェールズ戦ではハリー・ケインを休ませるべきだ。アメリカ戦では、イラン戦で受けたケガが影響しているように見えた」

元イングランド代表FWウェイン・ルーニーと元イングランド代表FWジェイミー・ヴァーディの妻同士が揉めた問題で、弁護士費用に関して決着がついたようだ。イギリス『BBC』が伝えた。この問題はかつてイングランド代表で共に戦った2人ではなく、その妻。ルーニーの妻であるコリーンさん[写真右]とヴァーディの妻であるレベッカさん[写真左]の間に起きた。コリーンさんは、過去数年にわたって、自身のプライベートに関わる情報が、ことごとくイギリス『サン』に掲載。コリーンさんのインスタグラムからの情報がほとんどだったが、そのアカウントは一部のフォロワーにしか知られないものであり、特にストーリーズの内容が掲載されていた。そこでコリーンさんは囮捜査を敢行。5カ月間にわたり、ストーリーズの公開範囲をフォロワー1人1人に限定し、誰に公開した情報が『サン』に掲載されるのかを待っていた。そして突き止めた犯人が、ヴァーディの妻のレベッカさんだった。その囮捜査は2019年に行われ、犯人を突き止めたコリーンさんはツイッターを通じてレベッカさんが犯人だを糾弾。しかし、当然ながらレベッカさんは否定。情報を流したことはないとし、ハッカーによって抜き取られたというなんとも苦しい言い訳を続けていた。イングランド代表のストライカーの妻同士のいざこざ。収拾がつかなくなり、最終的には裁判に発展。結果、今年7月にコリーンさんの告発は「実質的に真実」との判決を下し、レベッカさんが「事実を知り、容認し、積極的に関わっていた」可能性が高いこととなっていた。裁判も無事に終わった中、今度はその費用が問題に。被害者であるコリーンさんは100%レベッカさんが支払うべきだと主張。一方のレベッカさんは80%だと主張していた。そんな中、裁判所から文書が届き、レベッカさんは弁護士費用の90%の支払いが命じられたとのこと。11月15日までにまずは80万ポンド(約1億3000万円)の支払いが必要になったとのことだ。コリーンさんの弁護士チームは最終的な費用を提出していないようだが、裁判所が最後に受け取ったものだと166万7860ポンドとのこと。90%はおよそ150万ポンド(約2億4700万円)になる。ちなみに、これはコリーンさんの弁護士費用であり、自身のものも含めれば300万ポンド(約4億9500万円)は超えることになると見られている。 2022.10.05 18:50 Wed

8歳から親友コンビのライス&マウントが代表でゴール共演! 「同じ試合でゴールを決められるなんて…」
