11月23日に第1節を迎えるグループFは、実績のある欧州の2国の間に勢いのあるカナダ代表や監督交代のモロッコ代表が割って入れるかという構図になるだろう。前回大会準優勝のクロアチア代表、3位のベルギー代表には2018年のロシア大会を経験した選手が多数。W杯の何たるかは熟知しており、当然リベンジにも燃えているが、ベテラン勢中心のチームがどれだけ連戦を戦い抜けるかが懸念事項ではある。
